I really like this book and I'll keep reading it. However I also want to quit it. The side characters antagonistic specifically are so annoying thta I wish I could jump into the book and beat them up. I have to take a break from them sometimes. Author you're really good at writing but you're exceptionally good at writing annoying character. They irk my soul.

I have read 40 chapters...I feel the story to be warm...I feel the FL-ML interaction to be really cute...even though is unrealistic that she has so many skills, she is really warm when she teaches and tries to be a family with the ML's siblings...Hope it gets picked up...

Ended a little more abruptly than I’d have liked but so good!

It was good/okay. I finished reading it. Thank you to the author and translator. However, there were some points or details in the story that were left hanging. Some mysteries were not solved until the end. Nevertheless, i like the interactions of the fl, ml and the ml's siblings. The fl is still too kind and soft hearted for me though. Hehehe..

i previously rated this 4.2, but now that i finished the novel i was utterly disappointed with the ending. .too rushed, and too many unnecesaary inserts. . like, why mention the missing uncle and forget about it? story ended without finding the uncle, not even mentioning it again. . why mention the suspicious death case of hanxing's mother that might involve shen yong, then nothing else after this? what happened to wei xeir and zuang li? to bai youyou, cheng songyan, and shen sisi? to xiao yu? jinyan seemed to have a very significant past, why not mention? and there are other more loose ends! author, dont just finish the novel in a rush. .

I noticed recently that more and more of these types of novel love expanding on the views/perspectives of antagonists or supporting characters, even minor characters. Here, we have Shen Sisi, Zhuang Li, Cheng Saoyang something, Bai Youyou, Wu Yu? there's more, and will be more I suspect. Are the FL and ML too boring that the author can't write about them? Or perhaps the author is worried because they can only create 'Mary-Sue' type for FL therefore the rest of the time the FL is not worth writing/reading? I've gone through approximately 450 chapters and have to force myself to read on - just show the quality of this work. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against fantasy webnovel with unrealistic super perfect characters, my favourites are; Perfect Secret Love, Hidden Marriage, Trial Marriage, Heaven Sent Husband, Sidekick to Big Boss, Genius Doctor Wife Valiant, even Fat Wife Turn Over (the raw original), and more with all 'perfect human' that are likable. So, why is this Shen Haixing is as annoying as her half sister? And, really, Ji Yan, why are you so draggy? Yes, originally, the interaction between the Ji's siblings and Haixing is cute, but it gets boring quickly. Last question, how many chapters will it take for these characters to grow?
