Chapter 11: The mystery of water (part 1)

I feel suffocated. I can't breath. I feel covered with a strange feeling, a light mantle that caresses my skin. This is a very maternal feeling. It seems like I'm a fetus, in a mother's body.

Where I am?

I open my eyes and I'm underwater. I can see a light in the surface.

When I arrived in the surface, my eyes don't believe what they see. A huge kingdom, where the water is the god. An "water kingdom", in the center of the kingdom, a colossal blue tower that has the control of the kingdom. Huge walls of water for protect themselves. The kingdom looks like a normal one, but in reality, here is an aquatic place, placed in the center of the infinite ocean.

There's no other places other than the kingdom. If you swimming for days, for months; for years, for decades you'll not even found more than water.

Some minutes later, I arrived at the colossal doors, already open. Some kids are playing around at the fountain while their parents see they. It seems like a peaceful place, there are no sun, they being enlightened by a huge dome made it with shining water that cover all the kingdom. From the forward of the big doors, there's a fountain, then at the side many houses; colorful places with flowers and some little trees with blue leaves.

I start to walking around the kingdom, when I start to feeling a strange sensation. It feels like.. Someone who staring me. I feel a cold gaze that want to annihilate me. A monster's gaze. Inhuman like me.

A delicate hand touches my shoulder.

- "Hello, foreigner".

When I turn my head, my vision focuses on a girl of short stature; with straight blue hair of a dark hue, she wears a strange uniform.

- "Who are you?" I ask.

- "You can call me: "Zeranix". The little blue girl says.

What a strange name, I've think.

- "Can you tell me something about this place?"

- "Oh, you've never been here?"

- "Is my first time here. This place have a name?"

- "The people called it: "Aquaris". Instead, I call it the betrayal's kingdom".

- "Betrayal's kingdom?"

- "Yes! A place where you live in the lies and you're the illusion of yourself!" She says with joy.

- "Here, the lies are the emperor of the kingdom" She staring me with her blue eyes.

- "What lies?".

- "I'll show you the kingdom" She took my hand and start to walk with me.

She's ignores me.

- "Alright" I'm not okay.

- "Look" She says.

After some meters away of the fountain, there's a water gate closed, and two royal guards next at the gate. The guards wear an white and blue uniform, and black leather gloves. There's a patch on the side of the heart, representing a blue roses inside a drop.

- "They are the royal guards, lower members of the kingdom, they have just a few more privileges than the normal people" Zenarix says while staring the guards.

- "What if they saw me?"

- "Probably they will ask you your identity and why are you here. Or maybe, they'll try to kill you. Don't worry! I am with you, you don't need to worry about it"

My mouth is shut.

- "We don't have need to go beyond the water gate. I'll show you first the west side of the kingdom".

After Zeranix and I was arrived at the west side, Zeranix start to speak again.

- "The west side is an low classed area, there are poor people, they're all workers for the kingdom. They lives for server the kingdom's economy"

- "So they're all workers, not more?"

- "Not all life are equal here. Here the life is mysterious for anyone. Maybe they wake up in the morning and get killed by a guard, because they maybe haven't paid the taxes for his property in the kingdom. Maybe they get executed by the kingdom maybe they haven't respect a single rule. This are only for the very low classed people. The people from the middle classes have more respect. One time the kingdom was different".

- "The kingdom is cruel?"

- "No one can save themselves from the kingdom. Come with me, please".

Zeranix and I start to walking around the kingdom. The west side is very poor, the houses is basic. A long path with many houses. The kids are outside for plays together, the adults are working probably.

Zeranix and I are close to the water wall.

- "Take my hand, I'll show you one thing"

I've take Zeranix's hand while we walk outside the water wall with no difficulty. It seems like we're ghosts.

- "Look at the sky" Zeranix says while she staring me.

I look up at the sky, and I can see.. Another kingdom, a kingdom that extends all over. A kingdom made entirely of water, a light blue color that remember me the peacefully sky. A upside down kingdom.

- "There are two kingdom. A one made with nightmares. And one, made with the dreams" Zeranix stares at the upside down kingdom above us.
