The Countess and the Beast

[MATURE CONTENT] Uncle Heath gave me a look that said that he knows what I'm doing and that he finds me petty and a scheming sly fox. He suggested countless times that I changed my codename from The Countess to Fox or Nine-tailed Fox, because he says it suits me better, or a Serpent, but I don't care. I am literally a Countess after all. He sighed. "Okay, Countess, you won. But if you get yourself killed on this, the same way your parents and their friends later on did, don't come back to haunt me as a ghost. I've been trying to protect you, as I promised I would as your Godfather, but you are a stubborn lil thing who kept insisting on this. You're 27 now, you better not die younger than you mom did." "Wait," Harriet gasped, "the mission you want," "It's the one my parents were working on when they died. Probably the reason why they died and related to their killers," sigh. "It's what kept me working all of those years, the hope on getting my hands on this mission, and uncover what actually happened in July 9th of 1999." I hate number 9, it signifies unluck to me, while 7 is my lucky number. Call me superstitious if you want, I feel like it's an actual thing. "All the documents on their death are here, it's kept secret together with the archived mission they were working in." "Ah, Selene," she said softly, coming closer, full of compassion but not touching me, as her hands are dirty with uncle Heath's cock. Ew, ew. "It's okay, it's been 24 years now," sigh. "Which makes me want to solve it even more," then I turned my eyes to uncle Heath, who was now up, standing at 1.97m, opening his safe that's hidden behind the big painting of a scenery found in Sicily, Italy, which Harriet painted. Picking a thick file in a leather case, he held it under his left arms and locked the safe again, covering it with the painting. I broke into it once, but I was unable to crack the code of the safe. I always knew he hid this file in there, "Be careful, for the love of God, Selene." "I will, I promise!" Narrowing his eyes, he raised his right pinky finger and I cringed in disgust. "Wash your hands first, ew." Rolling his eyes, we quickly went to the bathroom at the back of his office and then came back, hands clean, file still under his arm. "There you go, now, pinky it up, I know better than believe your shallow spoken words by now, I know how scheming you are." Grinning like a wolf who had been caught in sheep's clothing, I raised my pinky finger and intertwined with his. "I promise I'll be careful." Sigh, "I can't believe I'm giving you this. The last two times I gave these damned files to someone, they died. You batter change that statistics to 2:1 instead of 3:0, Selene. Do you understand me?" I grabbed the files, but he kept his hold on it, "I understand," with all my strength, I tried tugging it to me and out of his grip, and after a lil struggle, he let go.

"So, you raised up to £600.000?"

"Yes. It'll be £1.800.000 the three places."

"I'll pay for it, it's not a problem at all," I rolled my shoulders.

"Good, because we have until tomorrow morning at exactly 7:15 to give her all of it, in physical notes. She's was as clever as you said she'd be and refused to give us her bank information. So, we have until then to hand it to her, before she leaves in a business travel," he grinned, "to London!"

Cael clapped his hands, "She's going to MI6!"

"I'll get you the money, and you hand it to her!" I told him, and he nodded. "I'll head to London tonight and track her down when she get there. You got her image for me, right?" I've been craving for this.

He pointed to his eyes, to the invisible lens in them, "Yep. I pass them to you, then you get all got with it on your computer." Taking the lens recipient from the pocket of his forest green suit, he slowly took the lens off and put them in it, blinking profusely, before closing the recipient, and lastly giving it to me. "I'm just scared about one thing!" When we turned our eyes to him, silently questioning, he sighed. "That you will get obsessed."

"Why would I get obsessed?" I scoffed offended.

But that only made both of them give me an all-knowing look.

"You have a tendency to get obsessed, Eric," Cael stated.

"You turn into a beast when you're obsessed, you lose the morals you have left in you," Des passed a hand over his hand, messing it up. "And that women's the type that'll challenge you for sure, and you never handles being challenged that well. She screams red flag in my mind, and I just have a feeling you will be catastrophic to each other and everyone around you."

"I'm not going to have anything with her," I countered.

"Tell me that after you've seen her with your eyes," Des snapped.

"Just… don't go stalker mode on the girl, yeah?" Cael sighed.

I gasped, "I wouldn't do that."

"Yes, you would," Michel joined us, coming from the kitchen, that is right in front the living room we are in, shirtless, showing off his tanned body adorned with some scars that make him even more gorgeous, with strawberry blonde curly hair, and amber eyes, he looks like a beach man. Then he set the four pepperoni pizzas he made over the coffee table, one for each of us. "You are totally the type to stalk when you're obsessed, brother."

He came back from his mission two days ago and came directly to my place in Edinburgh. Caelan filled him in everything yesterday, including our plan of moving there. It's better now, four brains think better than one.

"Fuck off, wanker," I growled, grabbing a slice of pizza. "What is her style, Des? What was she using?" He's amazing with fashion.

Grabbing a slice of the pizza, he ponded, "She was in a Loro Piana grey cashmere long-sleeved mid dress, with black Puma Mayze Women's Chelsea Boots, the Serpenti collection of gold jewels from Bvlgari, and I was also able to feel the scent of her Chanel perfume enough to tell she uses a Allure Sensuelle, which has a floral-amber fragrance that's hard to forget. I went on a date with a girl who worked for Chanel, she used that perfume, and I had seen it, so I recognized right away."

"Your dog nose has some use after," Michel mocked, and I noticed his nails were now in a light shade of green, near blue, almost turquoise.

He always dyes his nails to help with his anxiety and habit of biting them, and he has a system for it. They are connected to his emotions, he told me about once, six years ago, when he was drunk and I never forgot. Shades of green means happiness, shades of purple means fear, shades of yellow means sadness, shades of pink means disgust, shades of red means red, shades of blue means surprise. Colors that come out of a mix of two, signifies that he's feeling both, and it's always the emotions he feels when he's polishing them.

Green means he must be happy that he succeeded on his mission.

"I don't have a dog nose, bloody wanker," he pushed his shoulder over Michel's, bickering like children instead of two 36-year-olds. "So, just to make it clear, Cassandra is mine," he glared at each of us. "She has olive skin, long curly light brown hair, big midnight blue eyes, tall at 1.72m, and slim like a model. I'm already claiming her before any of you have funny ideas," he said the last past glaring at Cael.

"I like cock, rule me out, territorial dog," Michel mocked.

"What about Sera?" Cael raised his eyebrows.

"Bisexual," he stated. "She is into Ella, but she flirted with me until she noticed how Cassie was interested. She has pale skin, honey eyes that look almost golden, she must be around 1.74m she's a lil taller than Cassie, considerably taller than Selene, and well, she's easily spotted with her long straight hair in all the colors of the rainbow. It's quite the contrast when she's with Selene whose hair is long, wavy, and as pitch black as Eric's."

The lens burned my skin, making me want to run to my office just to get a glimpse of the woman who Desmond referred to as a siren.

"Oh, there's another thing I noted, Selene's younger brother, Yves Kristofer," he tilted his head, "the son of her guardians, adopted parents, dates Sera's younger sister, Ebony Emmeline. Back to Selene," he turned to me again, "her eyes are hypnotizing, bro. A beautiful shade of green, siren shaped, with long curly eyelashes. She was using a dark red eyeliner than gave an extra touch to her appearance," Des ate another slice of pizza. "Her body is something out of this world too. She's inferno hot."

"Man, Eric hasn't even gotten a glimpse of her and he's already glaring at you like this because you're talking about her like that," Michel mocked me. "Don't look at me like that, glaring at me will only prove that I'm right," he growled when I threw daggers at him with my eyes. "So, will compete with Ella for Seraphina, Cael?" He grinned mischievously.

"If she doesn't feel attracted to me it'll be useless," he rolled his eyes. "But if she does, then maybe."

"Better then being with my sister," I snarled at the bastard, in my fourth slice.
