Bonfire

Reluctantly opening the sliding door, Wendy found a guy sitting there, reading a book. She couldn't see his face, but she presumed he was her age based on the style of his clothing. She cleared her throat, earning the boy's attention. "Can I sit here? All the other booths are full." She asked, looking down, waiting for an answer.

When a few seconds passed and he still didn't answer, she looked up.

"Blue."

Her hand subconsciously went to her nape, where the word “Blue” was tattooed. “Excuse me?” She chose to ask, thinking it was a mere coincidence.

It took a few seconds for the boy to answer, and just as Wendy was about to close the door to the booth, he finally answered. “Wait… You- you can stay, sorry," he mumbled the last part.

She murmured a small 'thank you' before sitting down on the seat opposite him and close to the window. She could still feel him staring, but she ignored it and just looked at the passing scenario outside. Not that she could see much; it was dark.
