The Cosmic Myth Hunters

Animal spirits, rare bloodlines, monsters from three realms, and eight families of Astral Conjurers. These are the things that unexpectedly enter Kairav’s life when the young cryptozoologist encounters a mysterious stranger during his expedition to find cryptid animals on a remote island. The stranger’s first words are, “Are you one of the Astral Conjurers?” “My bull spirit saw a unicorn spirit behind you. But that’s strange... didn’t the Pure-Hearted Clan die out hundreds of years ago?” That unexpected statement leaves Kairav shocked. The mention of a unicorn immediately brings back memories of his younger brother’s mysterious disappearance years ago, and of the day he awoke in the woods, face-to-face with a golden-horned unicorn spirit that healed his dying dog. From that moment on, Kairav sets out on a journey to uncover his true identity. His quest takes him from soul-searching in a haunted mountain forest to discovering a mysterious inscription under a step pyramid, one that speaks of Eternal Holy Water. He travels to the eight cardinal directions, solves complex puzzles, and faces mysteries. Author’s Notes: Hello, dear readers! 64. Return to the Palace

Just as Kairav was still enveloped in confusion, one of the men in military uniform stepped forward toward them. The man with tan skin, a muscular build, and short, neatly trimmed hair stopped in front of Prince Arkana.

He slowly bowed his head in respect. "Apologies for our delayed assistance, Your Highness."

The young prince gave a slight nod with a neutral expression. "How went your patrol in the northern forest, Captain of the Hunt? Did you encounter any signs of monsters there?" he asked.

The Hunt Captain responded seriously. "We camped out there for several days and combed every inch of the forest, but we didn't find any monsters. The area is completely clear, Your Highness."

"That's good to hear. I was just worried about the rising frequency of Depths Abominations appearing. Better to take preventive measures sooner rather than later," replied the young prince, a hint of relief on his face.
