Wanted: Costume Designer

Only a week remains until the Round 1. I already know that we have a slim chance of winning, but I'm still doing my job as the manager. I'm still the manager, so It's responsibility to help them.

I don't meant to brag but... I actually believe that I'm a responsible person.

Plus, Ayano Katachi told me that her allowance this month is just 7000 yen, because she asked for an advance last month. Her usual allowance is actually 15000 yen.

So If we actually win and let's say that the money we earned is 50000 yen, half of that will probably go to the president and the another half will go to me. That leaves me with 12500 yen. 7000 yen is already a huge amount but 12500 is higher! So even It's slim, I will still give effort.

Even if I lose or win, I'll still have profit! This is the true essence of business! I walked towards the clubroom while still having this creepy evil laugh.

"I'm here. So how's the preparation?"

The moment I entered the room, I felt something really heavy. It's atmosphere, something bad definitely happened here!

"Araragi, come seat down. We'll have something to talk about."

Said by Ayano Katachi, while wearing a very serious similar to Adolf Hitler. The hell is this? I can't help but have some creeps here! Even Yumeko Arimoto and Nakano Urara wears such a serious face!

I gulped some saliva down my throat and hoped that everything will be fine. With that, I've gone ahead and took a seat in front of them.

"Do you know the situation now?"

I wouldn't even sit here If I know what's happening!

"The Cherry Blossoms are now facing a dilemma."

What kind of Dilemma will make all of you like that? When I announced that we're going to face the Sunflowers, all of you didn't made that face! So It's something more troublesome than that, huh?

What is it? Did I overlooked something? Something crucial? I racked my brain for a minute but found none. In the end, I decided to just listen to them.

"Araragi, the dilemma we're facing is the fact that... we don't have a costume designer."

A minute of silence has enveloped the whole room. No one wants to talk including me. As for me, I'm still processing what she said just now. After a minute had passed...

"You only thought about it now!?"

Truth to be told, we have enough funds to hire a tailor. Actually, even without the club budget, the girls could use their own money to hire a tailor. They're rich after all.

But the problem is... there's no costume designer. A tailor is not a designer, duh. Even if we try to hire a designer, our allowance and budget will be wrecked just from the tailor and other things. They can't just ask an advance, they said that their fathers are pretty strict. Ayano Katachi already asked an advance, so It's rude to ask for more. Neither of us are good at designing. Yumeko Arimoto can play the piano but she's not a good designer, same with Nakano Urara.

Well, Ayano Katachi have some good ideas for a dress but like I said, It's for a dress, not for a costume. You can't just convert a dress to a costume.

As for me, It might be obvious but I don't have any skills on that field either. This only leaves us one choice, we've got to recruit a new member and she has to be a designer.

"So, Mister Manager! We're going to leave you the most important job of all! That is... to find a new member! You must feel honored!"

Who the hell will feel honored at that job? But in the end, I was pushed to go. If I'm not going to do it, who else? Yumeko Arimoto is still busy trying to review her song notes, and Nakano Urara is still rechecking the dance steps.

Well, Ayano Katachi doesn't really do anything but there's no real point having her come with me so I made her stick around with the two girls for assistance. With that, I made my first step.

I made a poster first that says we're recruiting a costume designer. It's not bad and It's not good either. I decided to not put any decoration. Although, decorations can attract someone, I still decided to not do it. Like I said, I don't have any skill on that field.

So... where am I going to post it? I held the poster for a while and tried to think for a little. I can't just randomly post it in a billboard like the last time. I can't mess this up after all.

So in this school, we have 7 buildings. An L shaped building, A tall building, and more kinds of building. At that 7 buildings, there are a total of 13 billboards..

So... which billboard has the highest crowd rate? The more crowd, the higher chance of this poster to catch the eye of someone. Which is it?

I went and thought about it for a while. After a good 5 minutes, I made up my mind and walked towards that billboard. In the end, I decided to post it at the L-Shaped building. At the L-shaped building, there are a total of 3 billboards. There's less posters here that will distract other people from seeing my poster.

But the very reason why I posted this here is... because the L-Shaped building has the center comfort room. That comfort room is a wide place and there's more toilets there than the other. That's why almost everyone goes there, they don't want to wait in a line, you know. Other toilets are a bit small(Those small toilets are already wide for a normal public school) when compared to this one.

Adding to the fact that the billboard was just in front of the restroom. So this billboard has the highest crowd rate. With that, I came back to the club room and proceeded to the next step.

The poster will not always work, after all.
