The Thoughts of Lavitz

A full quartz moon shines brilliantly upon a field of jade green grass, packed with flowers of azure, navy, royal, and all shades of blue. Upon walking for weeks one would find themselves seemingly going nowhere yet everywhere, as the scenery would remain ever stagnant. However, an otherworldly sapphire stone platform is found upon this field of eternity, elegantly afloat while the grass underneath shines a pure effluent electric blue.

Silent winds pass, the air is filled with sounds of rustling grass, with a slight chill spreading through the atmosphere. No clouds cover the astral filled sky, shining with variants of rose, turquoise, and peach. Each star representing another world of emptiness and extravagance. Within this sea of worlds one light shines unlike any other, glowing with golden brilliance as it appears to fall like a knife flying through the air. Rapidly descending into the cold embrace of the gemstone now dancing in circles just a few feet above the ground.

The flat fanatical platform floats in the complete peace and safety of its dance. Seemingly unnoticed the star abruptly collides with the stone, resulting in what can only be described as an emptiness of sound. With no alteration of the dance, that had increased in pace, the colors of the platform continues to merge with the star. Mangling the previous luxurious sapphire blue into a vibrant emerald green, embossed with gold patterns. Altering its shape to reflect the appearance of the planet of plains, the platform takes the form of a globe with golden rivers and vast green lands.

But the dance of the extravagant planet comes to a halt as the now emerald gold globe plunges into the ground, deep, gliding through the plain dirt. With nothing standing in the way, the gemstone falls unhindered through the entire world.

Upon reaching the center of the great planet of solid green and blue, the liquid crimson core is coated with a thin layer of a swirling of blue, green, and gold liquid. The radiant orb now completely liquid, shrouding the core in its greatness. Suddenly the ground of the peaceful turquoise planet withers into black dust, sinking deep into the surface, forming a barren planet.

Creating anew, cold grey mountains, warm mahogany forests, magnificent rushing rivers, and fragrant flowers of all colors sprang into life. What once was a perfect sphere had become an unknown land with life from the core to the now abundant yellow-white clouds, as a mysterious soft golden tint fills the peaceful air.

In a short amount of time the entire planet was covered in life, birds soared high and low, fish filled the darkest of depths and the shallowest of lakes, mammals covered the mountain and the forests. This seemingly peaceful state of a completely balanced and well maintained ecosystem, was in fact quite different from many other planets in the proximity.

Over the course of many centuries and eons, creatures capable of altering the common known reality begin to live alongside 'normal' creatures. This came as a result of the constant submission in the golden particles of the atmosphere. However, after the short period of just an eon, these particles grew restless and clumps formed together to create 4 humanoid figures of pure gold, the 4 figures that would become gods capable of bending the rules of this planet.

Ūdens, Uguns, Zeme, and Gaiss

Not wanting to disrupt the ecosystem, these beings observed for many decades, creating a reading and writing language, they named all things discovered. The first thing that they named was the mysterious substance that filled the air, Ichor. For decades, they simply created an archive of vivid explanations and DNA of each species. This became known as the Prime Source of All Knowledge, locked deep underground, and unreachable.

Growing bored of this planet of wildlife, the 4 deities worked together to create some sort of civilization. Draining nearly half of their combined power they created a new species in the image of themselves. However, it was far from successful due to the ruthless attack by the creatures of mystical power. Them being furious as they had come from a long history of evolution, yet the 'humans' were simply created in almost an instant. As a result, they were left with three choices, to evolve an animal into a hyper intelligent being to please the evil creatures, destroy all creatures and leave the humans to live alone, or simply defend the humans.

Under the assumption that they could easily destroy the petty insects, they first worked together and attempted to destroy all evil. With the power of ichor their physical abilities were well past the point in which a human could comprehend, however 4 against an entire planet of evil (around 10 billion creatures) seemed impossible after years of simply destroying every evil thing they found with a light touch of their hand, it seemed near impossible due to being unable to unleash a huge attack without killing what humans remained, they only managed to defeat just a tenth in the course of ten years, as the evil almost doubled every few decades, this task would be unbearably long to the powerful now impatient deities...

"Dad~, how come the deities didn't just give the humans power to destroy the beasts?" A small boy, covered with a large cloth, lay in bed with his silver hair covering the small pillow in which he rests his head. Seven years old, living alone with his parents , and unaware of the cruelty of the world, he ponders a question.

"Well Lavitz, if everyone had power to kill those creatures then the power of the deities would be threatened, and if they only gave the power to a few people, it is thought they would grow lazy and selfish, unable to fight for the entirety of humanity forever."

"I would fight for humanity!"

"Of course you would, Lavitz, however people grow corrupted by power... it's best to just go to bed now."

"Aww!" He shouted sadly as his father left his bedside, he had never heard the end of the story. A sudden ache, or a question raised would always arrive just before something new was said. He pondered to himself as to what it would be like to be given power to help humanity, however his train of thought vanished as my father 'clumsily' shut the door too hard.

'Why does my father get to be a great hero while I'm just a little boy needing protection?' He pouted for many long minutes.

His father, Safotz, is part of the elite guard that protects the people and the king. Having been trained from the amazing age of 4, Safotz was strong yet he found that he was unable to get a safe and reliable job without an education. Enrolling in the guard force he worked his way up to elite and now is able to be at home with his family until he is required, getting paid for doing almost nothing.

Unlike his father, Lavitz' seven year old mind was smarter and more mature than most of the other people his age. Yet he somehow knew this wouldn't last forever, as it was his dream to become a fighter, but he had sadly been 'blessed' with a smart brain. He felt as if nothing could be done to reach his goal as his mother, Yara, would always say 'an intelligent human boy shouldn't train his body, but his mind.' In the next moment a thick book about how the world works or some other boring topic would typically appear in his hand.

"It's just unfair!" He blurted.

Suddenly the door bust open, however Lavitz was already lying back in bed, his eyes were shut and pretended to be asleep while waiting for the thud of a closing door.

However, it never came...
