The Conqueror of Worlds

Before his fall, the Wise Long Tong prophesied that in the future his empire would be rebuilt and would reach skies never before seen through the descendant of the Dragon God. However, thousands of years have passed since the prophecy, and the chosen one never appeared, which made all the people who were once faithful to the Long Heavenly Empire lose hope and give in to the Yun Heavenly Empire. However, while everyone lost their faith, a mysterious village appeared in a place called Eternal Forest. As for who was responsible for it? Chapter 2 - The Truth!

"Let's start from the beginning," said the spirit of Long Zhao. He was talking to a wise man who had seen everything and experienced the mysteries of the world of cultivation.

"First of all, I will talk about our organization. We live in the Ancestral Universe, created by 3 ancient gods. Their names are not known, but they were definitely the first forms of life there".

It was common knowledge that 3 gods who were brothers created the Ancestral Universe and all the life in it. At least, in most of the Ancient Scriptures left by the Progenitors, it was the written history.

"The 3 brethren created 7 principal races and 93 races derived from one of these. Likewise, they created 7 galaxies, placing one of the main races to rule each, as well as the derived races to fill space. We live in the Human Galaxy, ruled by humans, and...".

"Wait, senior!"

Exclamating in surprise, Long Ming interrupted the ancient Dragon Emperor. He asked, "One second, senior. If each galaxy is dominated by one of the main races, why do we dragons live in the human-dominated galaxy?"

Taking a light breath, Long Zhao continued, "We do not possess the pure blood of the dragon race. Our ancestors had dragon and human blood, so we were not accepted in the Drakarius Galaxy, so we had to migrate to human domination, because here other races are accepted without so much prejudice".

Long Ming didn't know much about the world of cultivation. His knowledge was limited to what Grandpa Wu told him. But even he didn't know that Long Ming wasn't totally a dragon.

The Dragon Emperor let Long Ming digest the new information before he continued: "Our clan was quite numerous when we migrated from the galaxy. However, because of an internal fight, we divided ourselves into 3 groups, each one having its own world".

Long Ming didn't know much about his clan, but simply because he belonged to the dragon race, he was definitely very powerful. What he didn't understand was why they were no longer the rulers of this world.

His questions were soon answered when Long Zhao said: "Our group came to an empty planet called Polaris. We populated each region, dominating the planet completely. However, a few millennia after our arrival, other races migrated here. Initially, there were conflicts, but we managed to resolve everything through marriages and alliances. Unfortunately, this led to other conflicts among our own species, resulting in a division of the world".

When a strong clan clashed with another clan of the same level, usually the problems were solved through fighting or, of course, through marriages between their princes and princesses. However, this only made the inhabitants of the dragon race more divided, generating mass wars.

Giving a few seconds for Long Ming to digest the new information, Long Zhao continued: "This way, we lost control of the planet. Many experts have chosen to divide and create their own empires, just like our Ancestor, the Long Luo Sovereign, who founded the Long Celestial Empire about 120,000 years ago. Not only that, but thanks to the leadership of the first Dragon Emperor, our empire conquered the whole world in a short time".

Without a doubt, the first Dragon Emperor, Long Luo, was one of the most powerful specialists in the Human Galaxy.

Mainly because the world inhabited by them was of the Legendary Advanced Degree, being very close to a Divine World, which was the apex of a plan, because only the world that dominated the galaxy could advance to the Absolute Degree.

Unfortunately, after the planet was conquered by another empire, it fell to a Common Grade planet. Even the Yun Celestial Empire was not able to overcome the Advanced Celestial Degree.

(Author's note: I am still working on the organization of degrees and levels, but here is a quick list of degrees of worlds > Common, Earth, Celestial, Epic, Legendary, Divine and Absolute, each having 3 stages: low, medium and advanced).

Long Zhao spoke in a proud tone from the beginning, but then his voice seemed to lose its brightness when he said: "Unfortunately, I suffered a cultivation deviation, which resulted in my loss of vitality. It was a matter of a few years for all my cultivation to disappear. And as if it wasn't enough, one of the generals I trusted the most betrayed us, killing the empire's experts in an ambush with the help of our greatest enemy, the Yun Celestial Empire.

Due to the strange accident that Long Zhao suffered, the empire became vulnerable, because the Dragon Emperor didn't have capable descendants, he only had the support of the specialists.

However, although the Long Heavenly Empire was the leader of the planet and definitely the strongest power, it had faced a war about 3 millennia ago against the neighboring world, the Solar Planet, which was close to advancing to the Legendary Degree.

Although they won, the number of casualties, especially for the Long Heavenly Empire, was very high. Not only did other empires achieve the same level of power as the Long Heavenly Empire, but some overcame it.

The Yun Heavenly Empire, for example, was the strongest power after the Long Heavenly Empire. Only the right opportunity was missing, which came in good time.

"We lost the war cruelly. Only a few specialists managed to escape and took the core of the Empire, which you already obtained. Well, that's the story of our empire," Long Zhao said while looking at the void.

"Senior, thank you for telling me all this. But... I don't understand one thing," Long Ming said in a tone he didn't know anything about, then continued: "Why am I the Emperor? I mean, there should be other more capable people, right?"

Long Zhao was surprised by Long Ming's sudden question, but answered: "Well, you have the blood of the Dragon God running through your veins, so there is no one more qualified than you".

"Blood of the Dragon God? What does that mean?"

"The Dragon God was the Progenitor of our race. To have your blood is the same as being the leader of the dragon race".

"Senior, I still don't understand. Aren't we the descendants of humans and dragons? Then why do I have pure blood?"

"According to the prophecy left by Sage Long Tong, a descendant of the Dragon God would be born in our empire. He would be responsible for rebuilding our empire and commanding our race. This person is you, Long Ming.

Long Ming still couldn't understand why he was the descendant of the Dragon God, but he knew he should bear the responsibility of bringing the Long Heavenly Empire to its glory again.

"I understand, ancestor. Although this is new to me, I will commit myself to the mission of commanding the Long Celestial Empire," said Long Ming with great confidence and a determined look.

Long Zhao gave a smile upon hearing Long Ming's answer, then he said: "Haha, good, good, you are indeed the descendant of the Dragon God. Young man, my time to leave has come. Trust in your intuition and guide the Long Celestial Empire through a path of glory".

After leaving his last words, Long Zhao's spirit disappeared, making Long Ming "disconnect" from the Orb of Memory. He reappeared in front of the group of loyal subjects, who greeted their emperor again.

The beautiful woman who was wearing a golden armor said: "Your Majesty, what are your instructions?

Long Ming remembered when Grandpa Wu taught that a good leader is one who is always one step ahead and who knows everything about his team.

"General Yue, make a report about the most capable subjects of our kingdom", answered Long Ming, who needed to find talented people among his subjects to manage every fundamental area of a kingdom, like education, health, research, among others.

"As you wish, Your Majesty," replied General Yue.

Long Ming nodded, then he opened his space bag again to check if it was empty. To his surprise, he had several items present in the bag.

Long Ming looked carefully at every corner, noting that there were several items. The ones that caught his attention the most were: a complete Imperial Costume, which is the standard clothing worn by an emperor; a long golden spear with drawings of golden dragons around it; 2 medium-sized books, one called "The History of the Ancestral Galaxy", which was a book about the many things existing in the Ancestral Galaxy, the other was called "Divine Book of Dragons", which was a book containing higher level techniques of the Long Celestial Empire.

There were other objects, such as pills, artifacts and orbs. Long Ming was very curious about them, so he flew towards the orbs. In all, there were 4 orbs, 3 red and one gray. Long Ming decided to go in the gray, because he was the only one different among the group.

When Long Ming came into contact with the gray orb, he felt his blood boiling. Melting, a sequence of words in the writing of the dragons appeared.

"You activated the Lineage Orb. Your lineage was awakened!"

Then, waving lightly with his hand, a panel containing information about Long Ming appeared.

Long Ming was quite surprised at first, but soon remembered that he was the descendant of the Dragon God, so it was natural that he was the one who awakened a Divine Lineage.

Leaving that aside, he decided that while General Yue organized the information of the talented subjects, he would read the book "The History of the Ancestral Galaxy," as it not only contained information about the history of the universe, but also informed about the levels of cultivation, laws of domination, empires, planets... in short, it was a general glossary about everything.

What was most needed at the time was knowledge. If Long Ming really wanted to be the Emperor of the Long Celestial Empire, he should know about everything he didn't learn from Grandpa Wu, who only taught some basic knowledge of the world of cultivation.
