New Kids

"Hey.. Mimi!! Wake your lazy a$$ up and outta bed. We are going to be late for school, idiot," John, Mimi's older brother, interrupted her beyond-the-world dreams.

Again, sadly.

She rises from her bed and went to change her clothes, her brother looks away.

Mimi looks at John and scoffs.

"You think I'm a f@cking du@bass? I know you have echolocation,"

She races to school, with a peice of toast in her mouth because that is what anime girls used to do...

She had dug so deep into her thoughts, she accidentally bumped into one of the students, causing her to land onto her bottom.

"Miss? Are you okay?"

A voice asks her.

She looks up at the student.

White-haired with grey eyes, cute too, with smooth skin and a cute smile.

Mimi glances down at his pants.

Ripped jeans.

She points down at the jeans.

"Sorry sir, but those jeans aren't appropriate for this school"

The boy scoffs and pins her to the wall.

"How interesing..."

He leans in closer to her lips.

"What a playboy.."

Mimi mutters to herself before pushng him away 'lightly'.

He goes flying into one of the pillars in front of the doors to the office.

The bell rings suddenly, which brought her running into the classroom.

"Hello students, today we will have 6 new students in our class,"

The teacher gestures the Mystery Kids to come in.

Mimi examines the 6.

The first one is short, with messy brown hair and eyes with glasses.

The second one is about 3 to 5 inches taller than the first one, with even messier, vibrant red hair, and salmon-ish eyes.

The third and fourth ones are about the same height as the red-head. They both look identical so this'll be easy- Slick,silky, ligh grey hair with piercing eyes matching their hair. They both have the same smirks on their faces.

The fifth one is- wait- Her cousin?! His name is Honotsuki Yamoria, or Hono for short. He is slightly shorter that Thing Three and Four. He has hair the colour of fire, and with deep, red eyes with his black glasses.

She moves onto the nex- nope. She slowly dies inside seeing who it was- the-one-who-almost-took-my-first-kiss guy.

She starts to doodle on her papers, her worried , excited, or nervous habbit. This time it was certainly nervous.

All of them, one by one, introdouced themselves.

First is Evan,

Second is Jacob,

Third is Laurenceor,

Fourth is Allen,

Fifth is Honotsuki-Obviously.

And Sixth is Laurence.

She also realized Laurenceor and Allen are identical twins. That explained alot.

"Nice to meet you boys, you may choose any vacant seat available,"

Mimi, unfortunately has two vacant seats next to her- one on each side.

She took a long, deep sigh when Laurence took one of them.

He smirks.

"What's wrong? The teacher said any vacant seat. This is one of them."

Laurence playfully boops Mimi's nose.

After class(I was too lazy)

Mimi exits the gates to walk home.

"Yo! Can I walk with you?"

Laurence asks.

Mimi sighs.

"Fine..."

It was a silent trip home, but about halfway there, Mimi decided to break the thick ice between them.

"Do.... You know Tokyo Ghoul?"

She asks.

Laurance's face lights up.

"Of course! It is the best anime I ever watched!"

Mimi smiles as Laurence rambles about the plot and storyline and how Kaneki and Sasaki are the same person and how cool ghouls are.

"So, I guess you can say... Kaneki left collage because he was too 'ghoul' for school"

Mimi grins widely, proud of her pun.

Laurence pats her as he laughs hard.

"Good one!"

He wipes a tear as they arrive to her house.

Laurence's eyes widen.

"No way. We are neighbours?!"

Mimi's face show pure shock.

They both laughed as they parted ways.

Mimi opened the door.

"Soooooo... You got a boyfriend on the first day of you sophsmore year?"

John asks with a dirty look on his face.

Mimi's face burns and turns into the colour of tomatoes, screaming.

"HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND, WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT TOKYO GHOU-"

Before Mimi could finish, John shoves a apple slice into her mouth.

"I know, I know.. Do you know what a joke is?"

He scoffs as he cracks an egg.

"How to make a egg laugh?"

Mimi smiles.

"How?"

"You tell it a funny yolk"

John makes his 'get it?' face. He always makes that derpy face after every bad pun he makes . He usually is a serious, cold-hearted, will always reject you typ

pe of person, but he only shows this side of him to his family.

And Mimi is the only family he has left.

They ate their dinner and watched the new Tokyo Ghoul:Re episode that had been released last week.

"Thats the last of it"

John says before picking Mimi up and dropping her onto her bed.

"G'night."

Mimi hugs her brother.

"Good night."

She burries herself into her sheets and goes to sleep.
