THE CONCUBINE WARRIOR

Venus was living comfortably in her new world as the daughter of the noble chieftain. Her world was turned upside down when the King of Wolves announced his intention to abdicate and retire in favor of his heir and only child, the Crown Prince. During the coronation, the king desired to give his son, the new king, women from various noble houses as concubines. Their Chief Scout had received the letter, which her father was now reading. She didn't want to be a concubine to the king. But she was aware that her father was the king's liege, and that he would obey the king's command. Hundreds of beautiful women paraded in front of the new king to be chosen as the high rank concubines. She tried her hardest to appear mediocre and kept her appearance simple yet modest. But, to her dismay, the decision had already been made based on family influence rather than their abilities, intelligence, or even beauty. Her father was the most powerful chieftain of the north, and she was chosen as one of the king's five high ranking concubines. Venus was uninterested in carrying out her responsibilities as one of the king's wives. She will go to any length to avoid the king. She intended to return to her world, the future, but how would she do so? The link between her current world and her original world had already been severed. In her world, she was a pure blood wolf and the best wolf huntress, but here, she's a second rate wolfless among the the wolves. The new king discovers her and realizes she is his mate, but the king has already made the evil witch from the East his queen. She set her up and was exiled to the Northern gate, where the undead wolves attacked the border. The border situation deteriorated, and the king paid a visit to his troops. He came across his exiled wife fighting the enemies and was applauded by all of his warriors. But when the king rejected and exiled her, the love she felt for him turned into hatred and the mate's bond vanished. Venus despised the king for the injustice she had experienced. What will become of them. What if her secret was discovered? That she was altered, with the witch and wolf's genes engineered and interlaced with the brain computer and implanted in her brain. The agency that created her became terrified of the most advanced weapon they had created throughout wolf and human history, which they had embedded in her. They decided to get rid of her. She escaped and entered this wolf's primitive parallel world full of magic.

Trap

Venus remained confined to her tower or spacecraft in order to avoid a mishap that she and Lilet believe the queen plotted against her. Their guess was correct, the queen summoned her, and the personal maid who had been with her the previous time gave her a solemn look.

She wasn't glowering at her this time, but she did appear nervous. They took a different hallway than the one leading to the Queen's East Tower. They climbed a stairwell and came to a halt in front of a massive wooden heavy door. The door was guarded by two scouts who opened it for them. The door suddenly closed while she was inside the dark room.

Inside, the damn maid had locked her up.

She sighed, knowing it was locked from the outside and not attempting to open it. Lilet could open any doors, but she wanted to know what's store for her in this dark room. She dispatched her weapon, guiding herself with its light. A heavy curtain hangs from the top of the window to the ceiling. The curtains parted in an instant as her device sundered to both sides of the window, allowing light to flood the room. She looked around and was taken aback by how large the library was.

But, to her dismay, books were strewn about the room. The tall bookshelves were all empty, as were the books on the floor. Lilet made her float in the air, so she didn't trip. It was natural for her to have faith in Lilet. She occasionally found herself in midair because someone was attempting to kill her. She must disable that type of feature. She must act normally or she will be perceived as odd and become an outcast.

Worst case scenario, she'll be burned for alleged witchcraft.

Lilet informed her that someone was in the library. Lilet immediately analyzed the man, and the result was fifty-fifty. It implies that the man could be dangerous. He is dangerous in nature, but he had no intention of killing her or the other way around. The man could be good, but he was forced to kill her.

She used her sixth sense to locate the man, he's near the window, arms under his chest, staring at her intently. But his expression is amused. The well-known younger brother of the Lord of the South East. "It appears that the witch was attempting to set us up."

Her gaze was drawn to his face. The man was irritated as he looked around at the thousands of books. She smiled as he cursed the queen several times. "It appeared that you, like her, is also a witch. Use your power to return these books to their proper location."

So the man saw her walking through the air, she reasoned. She looked at him intently, unable to detect any fear on his stern face. Her brow furrowed at him.

"I was taken aback when I noticed you floating in the air holding something. I was about to kill you with my sword, but then I remembered you were also compelled to be here as the maid rushed to lock you inside. My enemy's enemy is my friend. I don't mind if she's a witch," he declared.

"Can you tell me your name? " she asked as Lilet teleported and rendered the robot cleaners using the invisibility feature.

"My name is Kahlo," he replied, his gaze wandering to the flying books that had been returned and arranged according to their classification. She was aware that Lilet was making a list of the books for her future reference.

The books were quickly returned to their proper place according to Lilet's arrangement. The entire area was thoroughly cleaned.

"What will you do if the king comes here Your Highness?" Kahlo asked, his mind still full of wonders. He was talking to her casually since he spoke to her and now he addressed her properly. What's with him? She asked herself

He felt like he was watching a magic show, she knew.

"Well, if you promise not to tell anyone what you saw today, I can save you from his wrath," she said.

"I swear as a warrior," he said solemnly, almost as if taking an oath.

"It would be difficult with your reputation. You raped the southern women," she said, as the robot cleaners appeared, dressed as her maid. Lilet also embellished the place by placing furniture such as tables and chairs, couches, sofas, and even a hammock. Green plants sprouted up in every nook and cranny of the library.

"How did you get them to appear here?" he asked, his eyes still wide with wonder.

She motioned for him to take a seat at one of the tables. They were served tea and cookies by a robot cleaner.

Even if I explain it, you won't understand," she said as she sipped her tea. Kahlo also drank from the cup of tea though she think he preferred alcoholic drinks.

"Everything in the stories about me were all exaggeration. All of my sister's maids who betrayed her, I have punished them. I made certain they died in agony. But I never force an innocent woman who is unwilling. I prefer them willing and happy." He grinned like he was just talking about his favorite food. "Besides, I have another sister, our youngest, she's dear to me too" he added.

Venus nodded, if a man loves his sister, he's not at all entirely bad, she said to herself. "Are you going to pay a visit to a friend? Is that why you brought your brother?" she inquired, holding a book in her hand

Kahlo looked at her, puzzled by what she was saying. So, no one knew General Gan was incarcerated, she thought. "General Gan is shackled to the dungeon wall," she explained. Kahlo's face was filled with surprise, which quickly turned to rage. "The bitch!" He muttered.

"How did you find out he was in there?" he asked.

"Well, I jumped from the king's tower to avoid him and landed on the water. Then I discovered the dungeon, where I met General Gan and the undead rogues," she explained.

"You jump?...." then he sighed and shook his head like she was some kind of foolish.

"How was he doing?"

"He's skinny; I had lunch with him there. Don't worry, I sent him some food everyday. I kept an eye on him. When I walked in, he was about to be fed to the undead."

"What happened to the flesh suckers?" He demanded angrily.

"Of course, I wiped them out," she stated.

"The witch is controlling them and I didn't expect she penetrated the palace already. This is not a good sign. You have to be careful here," he said, deep in thought.

"I also identified them... the undead before I exterminated them," she continues but Lilet informed her that the king was on his way. Kahlo vanished and was taken to the guest's bathing chamber with one of the robot sex entertainers.

She gathered her thoughts and examined her attire. She discovered the value of looking good and decided to keep doing it. She was dressed in a cerulean gown. Cap sleeves lead to a bateau neckline. Shimmering accents adorn the crop top bodice. A waistband with glittering embellishments creates a flattering silhouette. The ballgown skirt flares from her hips to the floor, with layers of sheer and solid fabric for a shirred effect. Her blue eyes were enhanced by the dress.

Her golden hair was highlighted by the classic style. She wore her tousled hair down to her shoulders and accessorized with a diamond headpiece. The result was regal.

She pretended to be surprised as the heavy door opened. When the king's gaze stopped on her after sweeping the vast library, she almost raised her brow. She rose and greeted him. The king examined the single cup on the table as well as the book she was reading.

When he saw the title, the king smiled. Venus' face flushed when she read the title, "kinky," and Lilet turned the book she was reading into something erotic. The illustration is also R18. She was embarrassed to the bones but she tried her best to conceal it.

"I was just getting ready for the big show. I don't have any references, you know," she said as her skin turned into a darker hue of pink.

The king laughed and threw his head back. That's what the queen saw when she arrived unexpectedly. She grabbed the book and hugged it right away. The king, still amused, turned to face the queen. "My favorite did an excellent job of making this place feel like home. "You're doing a fantastic job of assigning her tasks," he told the queen.

The queen remained as composed as ever. How did she manage it? She questioned herself. "It's my pleasure, My King," she said. "Join us, she's preparing tea for me. Perhaps we could have breakfast here," the king suggested.

"Please forgive me, Your Majesty," the queen said, bowing. "I need to attend to my duty," she said, and the king nodded as she walked away.

"My favorite, you always made me happy. I've never given you a gift since you arrived. What do you want? I will give you half of my kingdom," he said. Lilet explained that it was customary for the king to shower the favorite with gifts when he was pleased.

A woman's primary role in this world is to please the male population.

"Yes, I want that, half of your kingdom," she replied and suppressed her smile. The king grinned, "your wish is my command. I will send for the Royal Secretary to write a decree. We will start the bedding ceremony tonight as the law requires,"

" Oh, I thought it's just a matter of statement," She grimaced and smiled at him. "It was a joke, I'd like to have this library instead. No need to rush," she said nervously. The king chuckled and shook his head. " Don't challenge the word of the king kaesha. This library is yours from now on," he declared emphatically. "Now about that book you were reading..." he said as she thanked him.
