We Deal with It 2

Wang Huanling's face darkened, his jaw clenched and his eyes filled with annoyance.   He wasn't angry, just more annoyed.  Not for reasons that are not clear, but regarding the direct reprimand by their CEO, Wang Xian Wei.  This was a disgrace to his future job prospects, a flaw that a perfectionist like himself could not easily accept.  In his mind, the only person to blame was Xiao You Ren.  No.  The man wasn't really at fault, but because of his confusion, he made someone a scapegoat.

Wang Huanling was mad and blinded by his own problems.

"Okay.  Xiao You Ren."  Wang Huanling's lips pursed, turning his attention to Xiao You Ren.  "I am Wang Huanling, Xiao You Ren's co-worker.  I can help you get what you want, including Xiao You Ren."  This time a lopsided smile was etched on Wang Huanling's face.  He didn't know what would happen next, but his thoughts were very simple.  Help the man next to him to get Xiao You Ren.  It was most likely that Xiao You Ren didn't like the man or had rejected him many times, therefore he didn't dare approach Xiao You Ren and chose to drink vinegar from a distance.

It seemed that Wang Huanling was starting to like his role, a crooked smile fit perfectly on his small face.  With a gaze full of fire he answered the man's question, "Because I feel sorry for you."

This succeeded in making the man chuckle in annoyance and question his state of being who may have clearly longed for Xiao You Ren, but did not have a golden opportunity.  So to cover up his embarrassment a bit, he accepted a deal with Wang Huanling.

"So what's your name?"  asked Wang Huanling bluntly.

The man looked coldly at him and in an equally cold voice he replied, "Liu Xuan."

Xiao You Ren kept smiling as bright as the sun at Zhao Yuzi, who came to his apartment to pick up Lie.  After having a little conversation, the girl decided to leave.  Xiao You Ren led him to Zhao Yuzi's car with Lie in his arms, while Zhao Yuzi carried a cage.  Their conversation revolved around the rules for caring for Lie, what the cat usually eats, his bathing schedule, as well as his habits.

"Lie is very obedient, a little spoiled, and mischievous.  It's better that you don't ignore him or else it will act up and trouble you," explained Xiao You Ren.  It's true that Lie isn't as rebellious as other street cats, but it can be a bit annoying when bored.  Lie is also a pretty lazy cat, so it doesn't hang around much and is a pain to find.

Zhao Yuzi smiled and was quite pleased with what Xiao You Ren said.  It was obvious that the man loved his cat very much.  "Alright, I'll take good care of your little friend, don't worry."

Xiao You Ren's heart felt calm, although it was possible that he was worried.  Previously, Lie had never been entrusted to other people or animal care, because Xiao You Ren always took it with him if he had an old business.  Sometimes Lie will also be stored in the apartment, then entrusted to a cleaning service that he knows very well.  However, this time it was different, Lie was deposited for a long period of time.  Xiao You Ren did tell Zhao Yuzi 2 months, but that was for a while before he had a new place to Lie.  Handing the cat over to a new owner who will surely love it.

Lie moved from place to place, from Xiao You Ren's arms now lying in cage which had entered Zhao Yuzi's car.  Xiao You Ren's hand waved as Zhao Yuzi's car left in front of his apartment building.  Immediately after that he went back inside and entered his room to check his cell phone.

He pondered for a moment, doubting what was on his mind.  Is it necessary to call Wang Xian Wei and say about Lie?  Or let everything run itself?

In the confusion of his thoughts on that matter, he thought of an advance.  If Xiao You Ren always sat quietly waiting like a good boy, he wouldn't really get what he wanted.  Instead, they just leave themselves to the other party and wait for their decision, as expected or not.  It would be detrimental if the other party preferred to ignore it.  Xiao You Ren didn't want such a thing to happen.  So he chose to grab his phone back and look for a number, send a short message.

Maybe Xiao You Ren did find out about his love life from someone else and thought if it was in the contract, or something simpler.  Like he didn't really care.  Wang Xian Wei decided to make a voice call to the man.  It wasn't long before a familiar voice greeted his eardrums.

"Hello, sir."

The voice sounded a little softer than the first time they had spoken to each other directly.  I don't know if it's just Wang Xian Wei's feelings or it's true.

"You Ren, don't you want to know the contents of our contract?"  Wang Xian Wei asked straight to the point.  Don't want to get involved in pleasantries.

Xiao You Ren was silent, did not answer for some time.  He seemed to have doubts.  It wasn't that he didn't want to know the contents of the contract, it was just that there was fear in him and his mind was overworked.
