Chapter 37: Honeymoon
Laura POV
Getting out of bed, I yawned in the unclassy way everyone thinks I am. I walked out of the room in my lingerie which stopped just right above my knees.
Getting to the sitting room, I flinched in shock as the person I saw sent shock waves to me. I wondered if she always appeared like a ghost because how she always managed to get me shocked whenever she comes here unannounced is one of a kind.
It was Beatrice, Xavier's grandmother.
"Good morning, Beatrice," I greeted awkwardly.
She replied with a nod but not without a smile on her face.
I wondered why she was here early in the morning but then checked the silvered wall clock in the sitting room and I was forced to gasp silently as I realized that it wasn't too early as it was 11am in the morning. I had slept like a slumber in the woods.
