Lost and Found

The grants slept in after two days of traveling. Wentlas arrived just shy of mid-sun (noon). The grants were ready and enjoying the courtyard by the time he came. First, they head to the clothing store. They needed school uniforms, some mana powered attire, and a whole new wardrobe in the style and fashion consistent to those found in the Capital.

The various workers in the store took their measurements and helped them find their new style. Life in the Capital meant running into royalty, nobles, and influential people all the time. Therefore, the level of casual attire is actually closer to dressy than in most other places. The mana powered suits were necessary in the academy during physical training and magical studies.

Terrick seemed to pick all the clothes that wrapped tightly on him while Bryce preferred a little bit more slack. Though, both did pick clothes that flattered their physique well. Ellie enjoyed picking out new outfits for herself and Althea. The some of the clothes were ready made while others required a more tailored fit so the store will deliver them to the house as soon as all the orders were completed.

Next, they headed to the market district. They bought some much needed house supplies. Terrick took this opportunity to buy a new ocarina and a pan flute. His old ocarina was broken during the beast subjugation. While looking at some hide boots, Althea gets separated. The market has began to crowd as people flocked. She looked around for a good ten minutes and resigned to the fact. She found a quiet corner in the market and was about to call Bryce when a familiar face almost trips on her foot. He apologizes profusely and asks her if she is okay. She looks at him suspiciously and he turns red.

"Aren't you the guy who ran into me and my friends last night?" she interrogates him. He gives a sigh of relief and apologizes again. He tells her that the knights have been after him because of some misunderstanding.

"My name is Rhald, by the way." He offers his hand out. Althea takes the hand and shakes it.

"I'm Althea, but my friends call me Thea. I'm looking for my friends. I seem to have gotten separated from them." Hearing this, Rhald offers to show her around town. She calls Bryce. Apparently, they have moved to a different place in the district and will come back to get her. Rhald offers to bring her to the store where the others are instead.

So in the end, Althea takes Rhald's offer. They walk towards the armory store but not before taking two detours to grab some street food and going up one of the tallest buildings in the market district. From the helipad, Althea takes in the 360 view of the whole Capitol. "This is amazing! How did you even know how to get into a place like this?! She asked.

"I have lived here my whole life. I know every nook and cranny of this city." He replies while munching on some Turkeychicken leg. Rhald pointed out every single important landmark in the city and promised to give her a tour personally. He seemed disappointed when she mentioned that her friends would love to see them as well. Nevertheless, he relents and promises to show all of them around.

The two stared out into the city when Althea gets a call from Ellie who was wondering where she was. Ellie needed input on picking bows and arrows. Althea asked Rhald how to get to the store. Since it was only a block away, Althea thanked him and proceeded to leave. They synched up their crystals so he could call her later.

Within a couple of minutes, Althea had met up with the others. Bryce has selected a scythe and a cape. Terrick has selected a mid-length spear than can turn into nun chucks. Meanwhile, Ellie has moved on from bows once she saw a cute pink short staff. She picked the one that can also turn into a whip. Althea picked medium size bow and arrow since it could work regular arrows or with her Light spell arrows. They spent another 2 hours getting books they need to read before school starts.
