Zamora's P.O.V
Zulia barges in with distraught, she looks weak as she falls to the ground as Flina catches her
I wonder what happened...
"Why are you so hot?" Flina asks
I checked her temperature, it's burning.
"Lial... egg cracked... flame burning me...I don't...know" she mutters till she fell unconscious, we carried her to the bed, as Flina helps take off her cloth,
I prepared a cold napkin and placed it on her head,
Flina taps me, she points at the inscriptions on her right arm.
"She has the same inscriptions, what if she can't control her power?" Flina says
"We shouldn't fret, let's try to cool her first" I picked up fan.
"It's spreading and it seems very soon she'll be completely possessed".
Zulia opens her eyes,
"I'll figure it myself, don't worry, instead we should worry about other matter, h...how should we k.kill T..Toketa?".
"You can barely breathe and you want to kill".
"We can't stay here forever, Prince Travis already knows, there's a possibility it's already known, if we stay here longer we only endanger this empire".
"I have to get stronger"
"I'll cast a sleeping spell on her" Flina says
"She seems to not understand her situation, you could die if you keep forcing yourself".
Flina casts the spell as Zulia nerves slowly calms till she fell asleep.
"I have to go"
"Where?"
"T...to the castle"
"Why?"
"I think... to say goodbye".
I got to the castle as I summoned up courage and head straight to Prince Aragon's room, I walked right in but he wasn't there, he must be in the office chambers, I ran down to find him, I walked right in as I saw him seated as his face was buried into a book.
"Good morning My Prince" I bowed,
"You don't have to act like a maid any longer, Princess Zamora"
I looked at him surprised,
"You don't have to pretend to be shocked either, how much more will you make mockery of me?"
"M...My Prince, I didn't—"
He stood up quickly walking close to me as he grabs my wrist forcefully and pushed me against the wall,
"You lied... you lied and mocked my feelings, then you dare to say A Prince shouldn't be with a miad when you were a Princess all along, pulling me into the pool of emotions and then pushing me away"
"My P...Prince sto..stop, you're hurting me".
He releases my arm and looks me dead in the eye...
"I was ready!, ready to make you me betrothed, ready to fight with the Kingdom of Estrius, breaking the engagement with their Princess, I connected with you and thought you'd make a fine Queen and most importantly a Fine Wife for me, my woman ... but all you did was spew lies,"
"Leave this Empire at once! or I'll throw you out myself, you're hereby banned from stepping into this castle and the minute you leave this Empire never...never! dare come back" His eyes filled with hatred
"No...no... Aragon Wait!!!".
I don't know what to say or do I held him without much thought,
"I didn't plan for this, I didn't mock your feelings, instead I fell for you, you're all I could think of, my resting place but I just can't... I can't be with you",
"I am the Queen, the first Princess and the rightful heir to the throne" I paused,
"My feelings for you are genuine but it's so fickle, I have responsibilities, I have a kingdom to rule, I have dreams to... A dream of being your wife but no..., Aragon, my dear" I placed my palm on his cheek
"You showed me happiness outside the castle walls of Neodessa that I could never have dreamt of"
He leans in for a kiss as Princess Irina enters
"I came here to plead for the release of my brother but here you are, having an affair with your maid" she walks to me and tries to slap me
"She's not a maid... She's My Wife" he says in his deep breathe voice,
"You dare say that Wh*re is your wife, to Me!," she turns her face to me,
"I have no idea what sorcery you did, but he is my man and I'll kill you for what you've done". she storms out angrily, she probably has a plan in mind.
"Aragon, you shouldn't have said tha—"
His lips comes to mine, soft and hot, as he slightly parts away giving my tongue way into his mouth, his breath and hands moving and sliding down my dress,
he lifts me up and places me on the table,
"Ara...Aragon, mmphh ..STOP IT" I pushed him away.
"You're only making it harder to leave".
"And who says I'll let you go, you're mine and mine alone".
"I belong to nothing but my people and my people need me" I walked away,
He pulls me back.
"I said I'm not letting you go".
"Marry me, be the next Queen to the Empire, My army becomes yours and you can take down—"
"Toketa is my enemy and not yours, I'm not going to become your wife just for such reason"
"If that's the only way to make you mine, I'll make enemy of any kingdom no matter how strong, how large they are, You hold a larger greatness before me".
"If this is how you act on impulse, I'm afraid for you can be no great king, you let your emotions rule you"
I finally got away from his grasp as I walked out spotting Prince Cyrus,
One Prince after another and not just any regular but Prince Cyrus, the one i can't read his mind or see what kind of thoughts he has.
"Princess Zamora" he called,
"You're quite foolish I must say" he walks closer and closer until he was right next to me, his height is greater than I ever felt this close, but how dare he call me foolish?.
"You have no army, no physical strength and yet you want to fight for your position as Queen".
He leans in has his large body overshadows mine,
"Aragon gave you the best option you'll ever get, I hope you're not assuming Toketa is just living in the kingdom alone, you probably don't have any information on what state your kingdom is, Neodessa is farther large than our Empire now, there is no neighboring country next to Neodessa, for she took over all of them, She has an army worth ten thousands of soilders and you foolishly declined the next King's help".
"And what would you gain from helping us?"...
He ignores my question as he walks away...
