Chapter 2: My First Friend

All the noise from the catfight brought me back to the present. I observed many weird things, all the people who were watching the fight din't try to stop the fight and they all were just watching, the guards at the gate din't even bother themselves with what was going on here. But watching the history repeat itself I couldn't stop myself and I spoke up. "Get the hell away from her!!!!", and suddenly all the attention turned towards me.

"Who the f**k are you, uggs??", said one of the bully girl's sidekicks and then the bully herself spoke,"Interruption is something I hate the most. You'll have to pay for interrupting me." She looked at her sidekick and then nodded her head as if she was asking that rookie to take care of me. And at that very moment I regretted my decision. Ohhh hell noooo!!!!! Why did I even have to say a single word. I had just taken up a fight I couldn't win at all. I don't know a single thing about martial arts or karate or anything!!!!!! This is the worst day of my life.

I was preparing myself as that girl was coming for me, coz if I'm going down then I'm not going down without a fight; when I heard sounds "THWACCKK, THWACK DHUMM" like someone was getting beaten real bad. I looked past the girl coming towards me and I saw that the blonde girl had tackled down the other girl and she was now heading towards the sidekick who was coming for me. The sidekick girl ran away after she saw what happened to that bully.

The blonde girl came to me and said,"Thanks for what you said back there. It was kinda cool. I'm Jessica." She offered me her hand and I shook it while saying,"Now you're embarrassing me, I hardly did anything while you took care of everything. I'm Kristen btw."

Jessica: Well there are a very few people who would do that and the last person I expected to do it is a girl. You really surprised me.

Me (Kristen): And why is that so??

Jessica: I mean c'mon everyone's jealous of me, the so-called "Campus Belle".

Me: Whoa. What's a "Campus Belle"?

Jessica: Well you can't be serious right now.

I gave her a look which clearly said that I had no clue of what she was saying.

Jessica: Okay, fine. There two tittles which the students here have made. One is the Hunk, which is given to the most popular boy in the University. Do you see that boy over there?

She pointed a finger towards a boy who was leaning on a red sports car and was talking with some of his friends. The moment I laid my eyes on him my heart skipped a beat. He was so damn hot and handsome. He had dark black hair, fair skin, a perfect jawline, and those emerald green eyes gave me chills. I was totally lost.

Jessica snapped her fingers in front of my face and I suddenly came back to my senses. Ohh god this is so embarrassing but I quickly composed myself and said,"Yeah I can see him." Jessica smiled giving me a mischievous look.

Jessica: He is the Hunk, his name is Adam. The other tittle is Campus Belle, it is given to the most beautiful girl and which is no one else but me!!!

She made a dramatic stance. I giggled.

Me: Well, it is well deserved.

Jessica: Thank you! I'm so happy today I just made a friend.

Me: Well now YOU can't be serious. You must be having so many friends.

Jessica: Yeah I have but you are the first girl friend, I mean female friend I have.

Me: I don't think I need to ask why.

We both laughed and finally headed for our respective lectures. I don't know why but I was continuously smiling to myself and I just felt purely happy. I just made my first friend and having a friend felt so amazing.
