Difficult to answer

"Here I come."

Vasari dashed forward on all fours, moving like a seasoned predator. After fighting against multiple 4 legged beasts on Planet Acrilles, his understanding of 'Tiger eating Mountains and Forests' improved a little bit making his movements feel more natural and fluid.

He leapt into the air and performed a flying jump kick. His opponent easily dodged his attack by elegantly stepping to the side before sending out an attack of their own. Vasari quickly crossed his arms to block the incoming attack after he landed, he was sent back 4 steps before regaining his balance.

'Seven form moon worshipper: Gist of the Full Moon.', Vasari was able to finally learn the second form of the Seven Form Moon Worshipper technique after receiving some pointers from Miss Covington.

He performed 3 palm strikes in quick succession catching his opponent off guard as it hit them quickly. His opponent felt as if the 3 palm strikes overlapped one another making it 3 times stronger than before.

His opponent did not even take a step back and tanked his attack without leaving so much as a mark on their clothes.

"Not bad young man."

Realising that brute force wasn't going to work, Vasari decided to try a different approach. He gathered the ambient water and fire energies into his left and right palm respectively, forming a large ball of water the size of a soccer ball and a good size flame.

His opponent watched his movements with interest and wondered what he was going to do with only basic Wills.

Vasari suddenly clapped his hands together thereby mixing the Fire and Water.

*Fhiiiissh*

Immediately steam escaped from Vasari's hands and drifted into the surrounding area. In less than 5 seconds an area of 15 metres all around Vasari was covered in a dense cloud of steam making it hard to see. The steam was hot but it was nothing to someone like Vasari or his opponent.

"Nice trick but this will only be useful on those below the True Soul Realm."

"That's fine, I just wanted to try something." Vasari shrugged before sprinting forward while unsheathing the sword on his hip and swinging left to right horizontally.

*Clang!*

Metal impacting metal reverberated throughout the surroundings.

"So you want to use your swordsmanship skills now?"

The opponent asked while simultaneously swinging their sword to slash Vasari.

*Shing!*

Vasari deflected the strike to the side and stabbed at his opponent's chest causing them to turn their body side on. Vasari didn't give his opponent time to counter, after missing the stab he quickly twisted his wrists to make the blade face his opponent before swinging as hard as he could to slice his opponent in two.

"Huh?" Confusion struck Vasari when he felt his sword slice nothing but air. He also couldn't sense his opponent at all.

'Art of Sun and Moon '

Vasari bent his legs in an unnatural position and used the sudden increase in strength on his legs to slide away.

Where Vasari's neck was previously, a blade of a sword suddenly sliced through the air.

"Not bad kid, not bad at all. Your reflexes and fighting instincts are top-notch, your physical strength is no joke and those techniques are pretty average but they suit your fighting style a lot so they look better than what they are."

Vasari had a cold sweat run down his back. He felt as if he just escaped death and didn't even pay attention to the praise he got from the short old man with barely any hair on his head standing not far from him.

"Old man, were you trying to kill me?!"

Elder Equus laughed as if he just heard the funniest joke of the year.

"Young man, I was behind you for a full second before you noticed me. I could've killed you over a thousand times before you even registered what was going on."

"Old man I didn't know you enjoyed crushing young cultivators' spirits like this."

Elder Equus grinned and looked at Vasari with amusement evident in his gaze, "Oh please, young men like you have egos the size of the world, I doubt your spirit would be crushed so easily."

"Okay anyway, about the tickets?"

"Yes don't worry, I'll send it to you tomorrow sometime."

After school, Vasari decided to visit Elder Equus and ask him for some tips on how to train the cubs. Elder Equus happily advised him and as he was about to walk away he remembered that Witney and Talia wanted to watch the upcoming competition and asked Elder Equus for two tickets. Getting tickets was a simple matter for a Core Haven Elder so he didn't mind giving Vasari the tickets but decided to test the young man's combat abilities and if he did well he would get the tickets. Safe to say Elder Equus was more than impressed with Vasari's performance.

It was important that Vasari was at least able to defend himself since the mission in a few months could easily go wrong and his life would be in danger. Although there was little to none of a chance he would survive if he failed.

"Thanks, old man, bye."

Before leaving, Vasari paid Otis, the black cloud Pegasus, a visit to see how he was doing.

After leaving the Cloud Stables Vasari did not immediately go home but went grocery shopping for the first time in his life. He made sure to put his mask on to avoid as much attention as possible and went to the nearest grocery store where he stocked up mainly on meat for the cubs. He also bought some special fruits for the girls that are said to improve the body and Qi flow through the meridians.

Overall everything cost him 15 cloud points which weren't too bad considering he purchased enough meat to scare even a glutton like Timo.

When he eventually got home he packed away all the groceries before entering his room to find Witney and Talia sitting on the floor with their eyes closed.

The girls opened their eyes when they noticed his arrival and greeted him.

"What were you girls just doing?"

"We were meditating to clear our thoughts before attempting to break through into the Supreme Qi stage," Witney said while hugging him tightly.

"Oh, should I leave then?"

"Don't you want to try and break through with us?" It was Talia who asked this time. She thought he would want to join them.

"Hmm not right now. How about you hold off your cultivation until after the Friendly Competition."

"Why?"

"Because I managed to get two tickets for you girls." Vasari's smile broadened, he could imagine the surprised, wide-eyed expression they would be making.

"W-what!!"

"Why?"

It was well known that tickets to the three-way friendly sect competition were extremely pricey and only those wealthy Outer Haven disciples and Inner Haven Disciples could afford a ticket. The cheapest ticket cost a whopping 500 Cloud Points with the tickets closest to the arena selling for no less than a thousand Cloud Points.

Unfortunately for Vasari, the girls were surprised for a different reason and didn't even ask how he managed to get such expensive tickets.

"Why did you only get 2, aren't you going?"

Both girls said at the same time while staring daggers at Vasari.

Feeling the questioning gazes directed at him, Vasari wryly smiled and shrugged his shoulders, "There's no point in going if I can't see and the stadium is so noisy that I don't find it that enjoyable."

Witney and Talia pouted as they had no comeback to his excuse but it didn't mean they would give up, it just meant they had to try harder.

Rescheduling their breakthrough to a later date, the girls and Vasari spent the rest of the night playing with cubs.

–––––

The next 3 days flew by for Vasari. The past 3 days he went to school as per usual and spent a couple hours after school to privately spar with Miss Covington who advised him on how to improve his understanding of his techniques, she also helped him improve his control over his basic Wills and also his swordplay.

To others, it might seem that she was picking favourites and she would tell them that they were right.

Vasari was happy with his progress thus far and he could feel himself improving his technique and skill every day.

During this time, Elder Equus, as promised, sent one of his employees to deliver the two tickets.

Seeing the tickets being delivered discouraged Witney and Talia from persuading Vasari to join them as it was too late to ask now.

Even after Gia and Jiang Xia came back from their 3-day exercise Talia did not want to leave and it was only after Witney threatened to 'do it' with Vasari even if she was in the room, did she leave although unwillingly.

In Vasari's room, Witney snuggled comfortably against Vasari's warm body. They were both laying naked after just finishing a light steamy cultivation session.

"This friendly competition between the three sects is going to last for 3 days so I probably won't be able to come home until it's over."

Whitney spoke softly as she drew small circles on Vasari's chest with her slender finger.

"Miss Covington did say that school would be closed for the next 3 days, most likely due to the friendly competition." Vasari rested his left hand on her slim waist and gently rubbed it up and down.

"Do you have any plans then?"

"Hmm I'm not sure…maybe just walk around the sect until something catches my attention.

"Wah so boring. Don't worry I'll just have fun for the both of us then."

"Who are you calling boring huh? I'll show you just how boring I am."

"Hahaha no ahahah don't tickle there hahaha!"

It wasn't long until the couple restarted their special cultivation practice and moaning sounded throughout the room. Already used to their parent's silly antics, the cubs slept peacefully through it all.

––––

"Wow, there are so many people here."

The next morning Witney and Talia arrived outside the newly renovated HavenField Stadium and what greeted them was a sea of people all queuing to enter the stadium.

It was a little overwhelming to the young women to see so many young, talented and good-looking cultivators gathered in a single location.

"We should've come even earlier."

Talia commented while looking at the long line of cultivators waiting to be allowed entry. Compared to when they were last here to watch the league ranking match, that line was like a tiny worm when compared to the anaconda-like line today.

"It's going to be a long wait." Witney agreed with her friend and started stretching her leg muscles to prepare for at least a few hours of constant standing.

The duo made their way to the back of the line but stopped halfway when a young woman who looked no older than 18 with beautiful green hair that was tied into twin ponytails called out to them.

"Sister Witney!! Sister Witney over here!"

Witney turned her head to find Xena frantically waving her hands trying to get her attention.

After successfully getting Witney's attention, Xena signalled her to come over. Witney and Talia walked towards the energetic green-haired girl and noticed another green-haired woman standing next to her. She was a head taller than Xena and her hair was cut short, barely reaching past her neck. If it wasn't obvious that they were related then one look at her pretty face confirmed that she was related to Xena in some kind of way.

"Sister Witney I'm surprised to see you here. I mean no offence but it's rare to see a student here."

"Hello sister Xena, don't worry about it, my boyfriend managed to get me and my friend tickets. This is my friend, Talia Timore."

Xena's eyes brighten when she saw Talia and excitedly held her hands.

"Ahh the 3rd princess of the Timore Kingdom! I'm a such big fan of your older sisters! It's such a pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine. I've heard a lot of good things about you from Witney."

"Hehe sister Witney is too kind. Oh! This is my elder sister, Dayna. She is ranked ninth on the Outer Haven disciple rankings."

The girls exchanged greetings before getting back to the main topic.

"So Sister Witney tell me about this boyfriend of yours, he must be quite a big shot if he can get you and Talia tickets. Also, I could barely recognise you earlier, what products are you using for your face and hair?"

Witney awkwardly smiled, both questions were difficult for her to answer. She and Talia forgot to ask Vasari how he got the tickets in the first place so she couldn't answer the first question and the second question was even more difficult to answer.

She couldn't say it was because of her boyfriend's divine-like semen right?

Right?
