The Child Soldier's Reincarnation

'The Weapon', that was what the soldiers called him. A young boy who ran into battle and simply killed what he was told to. All the higher ups used him as a tool, so calling him a weapon was rather fitting. He was a child who's talent was monstrous, he lived in a world where people produced 'Aura.' And although his Aura pool was rather large it wasn't what made him so monstrous, he possessed a Unique Attribute. The Corruption Attribute, it could stop natural regeneration, make the body and the ground crumble to dust. It made things decay and was like a poison. On top of that, he had a level of intelligence that would surpass even graduates of famous universities. His martial skills were also powerful, he could copy martial arts with a glance. However, he had been brainwashed and drugged to the point where he couldn't disobey. One night he was sent to battle and never returned. The Weapon only had one belonging, a book, it was the book written by the first person that he had killed. And he had reincarnated as a villain... _______________________________________________ All the art, the covers and in the images used in this book belong to their respective owners, I do not claim to own these images. I also recommend getting to around chapter 25 ish before deciding what to do, that's when stuff goes hard, everything before is more backround, information and build up. Oh and I got an Editor, WorthyAdversary, he edits from chapter 43 onwards

Chapter 53 - Unblinding!

A/N: I think it's about time I gave the mc a strength boost, he's missed out on years of magical training so yeah. Also I think he deserves to get at least a few OP things, it's his privilege as the mc.

I calmly took a look around and found what I was looking for, Odin's Missing Eye. An Eye capable of seeing into the future, and it was able to determine and reveal the absolute truth of whatever the user needed. It also made it near impossible to ever miss an attack. My Demonic Eyes were already pretty useful, they gave me X-ray vision, and I was able to predict my opponents next attacks by watching the flow of their blood, the flow of the Mana through their body, and with this, I could even determine the attack's attribute.

But, of course, the eye of the Chief God of Norse Mythology would be significantly more powerful.

Now then, you may be wondering, why the fuck the Brittanians have this. How'd they get it? Well, it's not that they found and retrieved it from some dungeon. The Brittanians built their whole country around this Artifact in hopes that someday, a person would be capable of wielding it.

This Artifact didn't measure you via something like aptitude. It merely took you in based on one thing.

And that was the possibility of you being able to kill the bearer of Odin's Rune. Odin's eye despised its previous owner for throwing it away without a second thought, it gained sentience and power through eons of absorbing the energies of those who came near it. It was not causing anyone any harm right now because it was in a dormant state. But if you touched it and weren't deemed worthy, you'd be absorbed and turned into nothingness. I was confident that it'd accept me as it's host simply because of the Fenrir and my own personality and prowess.

The eye was in the very middle of the room, I hadn't noticed it earlier on due to its presence concealment. If I didn't actively look for it, I wouldn't have been able to see it. It was just levitating in the middle of the room, it was grotesque, yet full of power. It was just an eyeball at first glance, however I could tell it was bursting with unbridled power.

I walked over towards it and then, it dashed towards me at a speed I couldn't even perceive. I felt it phase through my body and rush towards my heart and spread throughout my bloodstream, before it finally arrived at its final destination. My eyes.

I then felt the eye send me a message.

'I shall heal your eyes, however it shall take me a while to fully fuse to your being. So I shall remain dormant within you for a while, however you will still feel the benefits of my power. And as I mentioned previously, one of those benefits is your eyesight.'

I felt a warm feeling engulf my eyes, and for the first time in four fucking years, I opened my eyes.

It's been four fucking years. I had been alive for roughly twenty years in total, fifteen back there and five over here. I went blind around a year into this life, meaning I've been blind for twenty percent of my fucking lifetime.

I blinked a few times, I activated my Demonic Eyes. I could see everything around me, I could fully perceive everything. It was different from my spatial mapping, I could perfectly gauge the distance between anything in the range of my sight and even discern any possible weak spots. This was probably due to Odin's eye's benefits.

"Now then, I believe I have a battle to attend to."

I concealed my presence and discretely ran the fuck away.

'This disguise... I think Dawnbreaker should be a good name.'

As I exited the building I undid my disguise and I saw the one person I didn't want to see.

"Irene."

She was completely alone, her blonde hair gracefully flowed in the wind, her mere presence was rapidly cooling this place down. She looked at me without a single emotion. But then, tears rolled down her cheek.

She wiped away her tears and drew her sword.

"Ire-"

Before I could finish speaking, she swung her sword horizontally and created a large arc of ice that moved tens of times faster than even Angelica's attacks. Well, tens of times faster than the Angelica from a few years back. I formed 'Edge Of Nightfall' and slashed at the arc of frost. It blew up in my face, freezing half of the skin on my arm.

I began releasing a small burst of heat to thaw it away.

"You know, I've fought tens of fucking Brittannian soldiers, but they all were somewhat honourable at the very least so I never extended their suffering. But to whoever is casting this spell, I want you to know that when I find you..."

She held her sword with one hand and pointed it at me. Her eyes began glowing a soft, pale blue and the Mana in her body began to slowly leak.

"I'm going to tear you apart... piece by piece."
