8 Diary 8: Sanctus Luminera

David steps into the tower, the room is filled with the smell of adventures. The interior reminds Min Soo of an old-fashioned bar, perhaps a tavern would suit the word well. Sharp gazes glance at David who passes by a group of men in the tavern. Ignoring the glances, David shows a certain board on the wall.

It seems to be an announcement board or some sort, flyers and commissions are posted on the board. David explains that if Min Soo works in a guild, he can afford some money to buy his own stuff. Min Soo bows his head respectfully, the handsome man then shows him the so-called guild.

There's a bar on the far left corner, the female bartender winks at Min Soo flirtatiously while she shakes her drinks. Next to the entrance door is a counter, guarded by male staff. It's a brown-haired male staff with a friendly smile, he welcomes both of them. The man then looks at Min Soo, he widens his eyes as he looks at the new face.

"Oh, new face? Hello," he bows his head. "My name is Hansel".

His hazel eyes gaze toward Min Soo, especially his pinkish hair. As if he was fascinated by his pinky hair, the man leans forward and touches Min Soo's pink hair. David widens his eyes, he exhales as the man in the counter glazes toward Min Soo's appearance. Hansel then bows his head once again, he cups the back of Min Soo's hand.

David pushes the counterman lightly, coughing awkwardly at the sight of the flirtatious man.

"Hansel here is the counterman, he takes care of the quest and commission from the folks in Arachnosia Country" David explains properly. "He will be your assistant ".

He waves his hands enthusiastically, Min Soo merely bows his head back. The young man then shakes hands firmly to each other. Hansel explains that the guild is a workplace where explorers can get their money. The man explains the guild system properly, the guild will take forty percent of the explorer's fee.

The townfolks or the requesters will pay the guild with some sum of money. The explorers will receive half money of what the requesters pay the guild. Min Soo listens to the explanation properly, his bronze eyes latched on his hazel eyes. Somehow this sight somewhat irritates David, since he knew how flirtatious Hansel is.

David urges him to get to the point, Hansel sighs as he looks at the man who's been glaring at him nonstop.

"Anyway since we're here, to be an explorer you need to pass a test" Hansel explains. "And one of them is skills".

Hansel then shows off his skills, he can grow plants from his hand, Min Soo eyes glazed through the plants that show up on his hand. With a snap of his finger, the plants disappeared from his hand. Min Soo glances again at Hansel, still confused with what he meant by displaying such supernatural powers in front of the K-pop Idol.

"It's exactly as I show you, a skill test" he shows his power again. "There are non-Visioner and Visioner in this world, of course, I want to know which one is you".

This seems to puzzled Min Soo, his bronze eyes glaze toward David's navy orbs. It seems the man still owes him an explanation. Min Soo never heard the word of Visioner, David sighs again as if the explanation slips his mind. The blondie looks at Min Soo, the man pulls a deep breath as he explains what Hansel meant.

"Sorry, let me tell you about the history of Sanctus Luminera" he sighs. "It was my fault for not explaining".

David's explanation confuses Hansel further, the hazel-eyed man then asks David what's Min Soo's deal. Min Soo not knowing of Visioner and Sanctus Luminera baffles Hansel, the man just silently stares at Min Soo suspiciously. David merely states that Min Soo has slight amnesia, thus explaining the state Min Soo in.

Min Soo tilts his head, not knowing why David lied about it but he nods anyway. He leaves the explanation to David since the Idol doesn't want to attract more attention by not knowing the history of Sanctus Luminera. David then sits on a chair, he signals the Idol to sit next to him on the bar counter.

Min Soo nods as he follows the man obediently, following him like a lost puppy.

"Sorry about that, I don't want anyone to find out about you being an outsider of our world" David coughs awkwardly. "There are bad people out there, so might be good for you to stay hidden for a while".

"Makes sense" Min Soo nods.

After a while, David explains that there are two worlds separated between the rift. Sanctus Luminera and Lucis Infernum. Due to the great war between demons and gods, a special power was born and it affects the continent of Sanctus Luminera where Gods reside within the society.

Some humans would bear with magical power, these special people are called Visioner. The Visioners are people that are imbued with the blessings of demons and gods, they were hit by the sparks of power coming from the demons and gods. Visioners' power comes from the power of nature around them.

Natural elementals like fire, plant, water, and other elements present in Luminera Sanctum. After the great war is concluded, the Gods sealed Luminera Sanctum away from Lucis Infernum. The land of Lucis Infernum is governed by death. The departed souls would go to Lucis Infernum.

The two worlds still often clashed with each other, the seal has yet to open completely but the Lucis Infernum creatures are slowly escaping the rift. These creatures are called demons, they are creatures that were created by the influence of the Dark Sphere. Listening to the man tales seems to scare him off a bit.

"Are you one hundred percent sure?" Min Soo asks uncertainly.

"Yes, I'm legit sure" David chuckles when he sees Min Soo scared expression.

It seems the Idol journey wasn't going to be as smooth as he thought.
