The earth trembled as I ran past the corridor of the tunnel panting . Running towards the only light I could see ahead, all I could think of was how to escape the things chasing me but deep down I knew escape was in fact just an illusion, but I had hope , an illusion that the current me clung to as I ran out the tunnel the first thing that hit me was the light shining down on my face I used my left hand to block the light as I adjusted my eyes to the brightness I couldn't hear the monsters approaching it was like they were restricted to that area I looked behind me to see where I had ran out from

.. a tunnel that led to a different world. It had been a month since I arrived in these world but to me it was like I had always been here I took a deep breath of the damp air and steadied my breathing as I walk towards a nearby tree to rest my bare feet enjoying the caresses of the grass. I got to the tree and sat down and started taking deep breaths to calm my racing heart

As I steadied my breathing I contemplated my existence I couldn't help but curse all of the time I spent lazing around when I was on earth but there was no medicine for regret taking a deep breath to calm the chaotic thoughts going through my mind and to think that I preferd being a librarian to this is utter blasphemy I thought. I closed my eyes took another deep breath and finally my thoughts drifted as I found peace and finally relaxed.

The sun shone on my face as the intense ray of light woke me up from my slumber as I stood up and began my nearest search for water I found a lake that ran at the far end of the planes . I had not yet scouted the area where I had arrived and I just slept there 'how stupid of me' I cursed my self in my mind as I drank water from the pond and used it to wash my body as I looked back at my form that was being reflected I couldn't help admire that my current body was a piece of work I was tall around 6ft 3 my eyes were black like the abyss so dark I felt captivated by them I saw my skin shine after cleaning my self I wasn't too fair I just looked like I had a tan my physique was muscular and lean I admired my self for a few seconds more then I looked up and I swore to the former owner of the body I will make them pay and I will get strength strength to crush everything in my way I took a deep breath and walked back to the tree as I started meditating and contemplated the laws and mystery of the universe so as to better adapt myself to this world and get revenge
