Interrogation

[Oh My God!!!]

[I Told You!!! This guy must be using a HACK!!!]

Huan was manic as he screamed, watching the travesty happening below. Though, invisible to viewers, his impish body was bouncing up screaming onto his card.

[This being definitely knows something we do not!!!]

[About Reality? About six paths? He definitely knows something we do not!!!]

As an imp, it has always been in his interest to be a provocateur. An ability he definitely would not abandon during his evolution. His dream is to control a large path of the abyss with just his words, either an order or a provocation. This had always been his pride, the power of words, but whatever is happening down there definitely does not require any provocation from him to incite people's jealousy.

On the platform is a mountain of body parts from different species throughout the six paths. The masked Mortal Herculean was still standing on the platform with no one else present, all turned to motes of lights outlining his glorious victory.

A victory over all six paths, a victory so massive it is impossible to replicate. Mortal Herculean had challenged the projections of all supreme grade celestial or beings predicted to be one. Beings who could be called unrivalled in the Mortal Aspect of cultivation.

Though not all supreme grade celestial were born mortal and some did not appear until they've become immortal. This makes for some discrepancies but what the Mortal Herculean achieved was something that most had never thought to do.

Killing all of them was one task, preventing their most formidable body parts from dissolving was another aspect. No one knows why he would preserve the body parts of his opponents when he could just let them dissolve. Matter can not be taken away from the Void Heaven Reality, which makes his endeavours useless.

The common belief is that it's a way of collecting trophies, he was not collecting the virtual parts, just the recordings of him collecting them.

Whatever the reason is, a hunt is ongoing for the Mortal Herculean.

Another point of contestation is his title. While it is believed that the six paths had never been fully explored by one person and it might be impossible to be explored by a single person. The race Herculean had never been recorded in the Void Heavens Tower database according to the Tower. That would make this man called the Mortal Herculean, the first of his race if that is their name.

The Mortal Herculean seemed to recover a bit as he looked rather off shape, which was warranted as he'd been fighting this impossible battle for almost a month now, stunning all by not shedding a drop of blood. The only sign of damage on his body is his apparel, which looked tattered. He is mostly covered by his amorphous chain weapon which he morphed to serve his clothing needs.

With a wave, he kept his loot in wherever he is keeping them as they all know he would not be able to bring them out or would he?

Ja was looking at a woman who seem to be in her twenties, who had a head full of silver hair just like him and blue eyes the colour of the ocean. Her face was also beautiful but most would shy away from that as she seem to radiate an imperial aura that makes everyone timid before her. Not even Ja was an exception despite being separated by millions of light-years. This is his mother's twin and the mother of Orion Cloude, Princess Aqua Devine Skye, the wife of the Fanatic Titan and an absolutely domineering woman.

"He wasn't there uhn?" She whispered.

"Yes, aunt," Ja replied rigidly.

"Hmmm... Continue with your investigation but don't let it take too much of your time." She continued, "I only need his general location and trajectory."

"He can't run for too long."

"Yes, aunt." Ja seem to only find this reply as he conversed with her, this is their first conversation and Ja could only stutter before this god-like aunt of his. The mission to come here was sent to him through a trusted proxy.

"Aunt, please watch this!" Remembering something before the connection closes, he presented a video to his aunt, this was something he found accidentally. It was a video of Mortal Herculean and Orion fighting side-by-side with a detailed analysis of their fighting styles. Even without the analysis, one would see the similarities being the weapon of choice, fighting style, physique build and even hair colour.

While many of the top species were searching for the Mortal Herculean, this was none of the business of species like the Rocs, the only reason Aqua Skye knew about Mortal herculean was that she was amused by the one who could trounce her husband.

She, like many others, had noticed the hair colour, and while all Roc possess silver-coloured hair of different variations, many other races possess this feature as well. Seeing the comparisons, Aqua groaned, the little brat did little to hide.

If she could make this connection, many others would soon sniff this connection.

Pondering for a moment, "Stay here and gather a few useful talents or create a sect on this system. Orion emerging from here would boon the fortune of the planet."

"I'll see to the scrubbing of the video of the battle on the planet from the public. This should delay for a bit, giving him some time to fly around for a while."

Aqua said before cutting the connection, giving Ja a moment to heave a sigh of relief. Ja pondered for a moment in his quarters before exiting the room to meet with his underlings.

They were going to turn this system into a Roc-dominated one.

...

"Why?" Mercian was sitting before Diane Thanen who was chained on her knees somewhere in their ship. Looking at her miserable rival, Mercian does not know what to feel.

Pity, anger, disappointment, disgust or... sorrow?

All was lost to her, so she could only ask the question... Why?

Thanen does not answer as she seems to not be there, as if trying to find something that was not present.

"You are dead," Mercian stated after seeing her demeanour, trying to find something from her reaction. After all, this body of hers had been isolated from the universe in that room Orion kept her locked but Mercian was once again disappointed as Thanen did not flinch.

To Thanen, her main body was already dead from the moment she was captured so she was not looking for her main body but something else, something not even Mercian understands.

Thanen stayed in a daze for a while before she started chuckling, unclear to Mercian who seem to think her rival had fallen to a mental demon, she chuckled for a while before finally commenting.

"You asked WHY?" Thanen's voice was grating as if she'd only talked for the first time in a long time, "She was already hitting a snag in her cultivation and would not spend her life following a talentless lord!"

Cough Cough

"Do not give me looks of pity, if there was something WE know, it is choosing a talented lord. SO WE DID!!!"

Mercian's look had turned to one so complex even she could not describe, looking at her rival who was mixing pronouns and referring to herself as a third person just convinced her of her mental demon conjecture. She still stayed just to get as much information as possible from whatever was talking.

"We just had to contribute and the best devil or saint would come out on top freeing ourselves from the shackle." Thanen raved on regardless of who was listening.

"Then news came, came that our former lord was born and we were to investigate his circumstances and report back."

"The rest chose to do just that but not me, I chose to take his blood and free myself from the others and the shackle."

HAHAHAHAHAHA

"The rest realized what I was doing but they didn't interfere to collect data from my death but look at it now, I'm the only one left alive."

"I doomed the rest, I'm the Original now and I would be escaping your custody whether you love it or not."

HEHEHEHAHAHAHA

Thanen started giggling maniacally while Mercian unable to watch stood up readying to leave the chamber and move for the base once more. Thanen's mad laughter accompanied her out as she was met with Budderon.

Her once trustworthy spymaster had been failing recently and he was certainly aware of that.

Budderon moved close to Thanen as soon as the door closes, "Cap'n you have to see this." he moved his card for her to see and once she caught glimpse of what that is, she was suddenly moved.

"Nice work Budderon!!!" Mercian exclaimed looking at her spymaster as her tail started tapping the floor continuously to show her happiness. Budderon was stunned too, he had only seen the captain that happy once in his life.

"Hmmm... Get me information on Thanen's clones, including their behaviours and personality." Mercian remembered the matter regarding Thanen, so she commands, "You have 10 mortal minutes to get that for me, I need to see Gari by then."

"Yes, captain!!" Budderon saluted.

While the little mortal planet was bustling with activities, another system was rather calm and graceful. This system was unlike that of Umbron, this system consists of only a star and a planet. The void here seems to be murkier seemingly containing more matter than usual, this is a property that sets in the void in regions with higher energy concentration. This makes the void in these regions more adhesive.

The planet is about twenty times larger than Umbron, which was the largest one in the Umbron system. The diameter was about 13 million kilometres and the star is about fifty times the size of that.

Despite all these details, this system is not for the public, it is private property. This system is the manor of a particular phoenix and it is well known to have a defence force capable of resisting a Third Nirvana Celestial.

The star which serves as the main abode for the phoenix was usually calm and no one usually visits as this immortal star is under the sole use of the phoenix, no one else is allowed to use its energy. This is the type of luxury that can only be afforded by the Celestial Clan.

A tall man was walking on the surface of the sun, moving step-by-step unbothered by the intense heat of the sun until he reached a cottage, in front of which is a well that seems to extend towards the abyss. Standing in front of the well, the man waits, unbothered by how long he would have to do that.

"What do you want Bruno?" a voice came from the well, the voice that seem to have been travelling a long while to reach up.

"Thanen has established a connection, Sir." The tall man replied before waiting a moment until another sound came from the well.

"Who is that? and What of it?" The voice replied.

"It is one of the connections I made to investigate the being you told me about." The tall man hesitated a bit before speaking, "I think this one is the most reliable one yet."

"You have told me about many 'Orion Cloudes' who turned out to be phonies. I do not want to break my seclusion early because of another goose chase."

"This one is a Roc... No a Titan Roc!" Bruno mentioned, before continuing "Apparently just hatched about a few days ago given the distance discrepancies and time conversion, as he was born in the Mortal Path, in the Mortal territory of the Divine Dragon Sect."

"A Roc?... Indeed, Bruno, this is the best one yet." The voice exclaimed, "That makes us about two years away from their location, tell the believers to ready their scout and confirm the information for me."

"You have five years, which should make twelve thousand Mortal years." The voice urged which made it seem agitated.

"Do NOT disappoint me." Stressed the voice as Bruno began to head back towards the exit point of the formation in the star.

Moments later, multiple ships were seen leaving the system, entering jumps to a destination unknown.
