Chapter 9: The Journey

July 29th, 2025, a day after the start of the journey to the town and a day after the revealing of Emely's secret son, but the secrets of our characters are far from being revealed. In the middle of nowhere our characters find themselves in the middle of the Pholoe oak forest in Greece, tired and hungry searching for a place to rest, but despite their desire to stop and rest, they knew if they stopped the night would get the best of them. Eric, with the compass he leads the journey, but he knew that everyone was tired so knowing the night would cause a complete setback in their journey he told everyone to stop. Then everyone put down their things and felt relieved. Eric sat down against a tree and looked at the forest knowing the journey to the town was a setback a day, but as Eric kept on staring at the top of the trees to get to the town, he saw an abandoned forest guard command tower at least 7 miles away. Then In excitement Eric told everyone to get up and told them about the tower, and as he starts ranting about the possibility that there is a car and why they should start heading there in the morning, Elsie interrupts and asks "Hello that place has been abandoned for years, how do we even know if there is a car there and if there is that it even works" and everyone nods their heads agreeing with Elsie, Eric thinks and got then says "we could send two people in the morning to check it out while the others continue the path and then we all will meet at the town only setting the 1st group back a day so that way we have a means of transportation" everyone nods, but then Elsie asked "who is going to be the two people going to the tower" Eric starts thinking and then mason yells out " I think Eric and vanessa should go" vanessa nods her head no, But then Elsie and Emely knowing what Mason is doing, insists that vanessa goes. Then on the morning of the next day the two groups set off on their journeys while a dark figure watches them from the forest.
