CHAPTER ONE: CELEBRITY STEPSISTER
Her body was burning with heat as Strong as volcanic Larva, and the only thing that could save her is the cold drink in the deep freezer just some steps away from her.
The weather that day was a very annoying and tiring one as she struggled in the big and long historical dress and also the fake pregnancy in her belly that will be used for the next scene she's going to act.
Mo Xinwei had been casted as an extra character in this play and she only got two scenes and the two scenes were the scenes she'll have to act like a pregnant woman all in one day.
She walked frantically to the deep freezer and was about to open it when a hand stopped her. ..
"Hey...hey sister, this deep freezer is only accessible to the Main roles I mean for Celebrities not for extras"
All the passion for expectations and anticipation of the chilled drink died down in her immediately she heard what her sister had said and she gently stepped aside for her. Who wouldn't have obeyed her, she's Mo Xiaoci afterall... The popular Mo Xiaoci, the leading female actress in Yun City, it should be a blessing that an upcoming actress like her who has nobody to pull stings for her could act in thesame movie with the popular Mo Xiaoci who also happens to be her stepsister.
Xiaoci choosed a chilled bottle of water and sat down under the cool umbrella that her PA had set for her. As she drank the cold water, hot embers of anger flowed even more in Xinwei's spirit. Xiaoci gestured her to join her under her cool shed "Xinwei Jie, have you now accepted that I can destroy your silly self at anytime? Xinwei looked at her sister with anger and disdain, she didn't give her any reply but hissed and made to leave but Xiaoci held her back...
"Hey Jie, are you going to complain to Tian gege? Ohh forget it, did you think he'll have time to listen to your jam talks? He's obviously enjoying the company of those beautiful Actresses than you" She said
"Mo Xiaoci ! Xinwei ranted angrily while Xiaoci laughed sarcastically Xinwei continued....
"You...you... Just wait and see! She said and stormed off.
Lan Tian is also an actor casting in thesame movie as Xinwei and Xiaoci, He's Xinwei's childhood friend who she also have some feelings for. After their middle School, Lan Tian made some advance movements to Xinwei and they started dating. Xinwei knew clearly that their status are incompatible, but the was Lan Tian behaves to her gave her the impression that he loved her Ben though he never expressed it.
She stormed to the hall and there was Lan Tian surrounded by girls mostly are from the cast and some from the crew. Before she could reach where he was, Xiaoci had rushed there before her and purposely fell down to gain to gain attention to herself.
Lan Tian stood up from his seat and rushed to her .. "Tian Gege, I hurt my leg" She whinef Lan Tian picked her up in a bridal style to the seat he was sitting earlier, Xiaoci made a smirking face to Xinwei.
Xinwei stood there furiously, she somehow felt jealous with the way Lan Tian was tending to Xiaoci's wound. She decided to play her own trump card she also fell down.... "Lan Tian Gege, I fell down" She cried, without even sparing her any glance, Lan Tian replied "Call the manager to take care of you" He said making everyone erupt in laughter.
Xinwei was shamefaced, she stood up gently and left the hall. After some minutes for the break, the shooting resumed, as soon as it was Xinwei's turn, the spectators and the crew bursted out laughing hard
"That's the girl that's trying to get Lan Tian's attention" one of them said audibly so that she could hear....
Xinwei shot the lady a dagger eyed and she kept shut immediately.
After the shooting, Xinwei stood at the entrance and was about the waved down a taxi, a dazzling red sports car zoomed towards her. Xinwei's heart thumped and she retreated a few steps back. Only to hear the screeching sound from the brakes, as the red sports car brushed over her the edge of her clothes before stopping abruptly.
Xinwei's heart almost stopped, after regaining her footing, when sh saw a lady wearing a white body hugging short gown that barely reached her knee and emerged from it was Her sister Mo Xiaoci.
"Mo Xiaoci You again?? She asked...
"Oh jie, how are you after your fake fall earlier? Or are you still mad that Tian Gege didn't look at you? Xiaoci Quipped. Xinwei didn't reply and made to leave but Xiaoci blocks her again... And repeated thesame question just then, Lan Tian came out too and met them.
"Xiaoci, don't you said you hurt your legs earlier? Lan Tian asked and almost immediately, Xiaoci fell down again giving a fake cry... "Tian Gege, Xinwei pushed me but now" She cried
Lan Tian rushed to her and picked her up again in a bridal style into the car then came out to meet Xinwei...
"Why are you so mean to your sister? Ain't you siblings? Why must you always be mean to her? At least she's your senior in terms of work you should respect her for that, you ain't older than her isn't it? He asked
Xinwei looked at him with eyes filled with pains and sorrows, then with pained voice she asked "are you still dating me? Lan Tian was speechless for some moments then he smirked "are we dating? I mean I made some advance to you but I never said I love you did I?
Xinwei's world fell, her hope was dashed, at that moment she felt as if the ground should open up and swallow her.. she felt a drop of tear run down her face.... She shrugged..
"Okay, you never loved me? Then why did you show me love? You cared for me and you're kind to me, we are closer to each other than you're to Xiaoci then why? She asked
"Xinwei, see you at the shooting tommorow..... Oh I forgot you didn't have a role anymore.... And Happy birthday! I just remembered tommorow is your birthday and we might not see each other so Happy birthday" he said and joined Xiaoci in the car then rode off.
Xinwei fell on her knees and weeped.
