The Journey

Mrs. Bernard woke up early in the morning preparing for the arrival of her daughter and her inlaw to be.

She swept every corner of the house, arranged the kitchen, and set the dining room they had abandoned for the past months. 

"I wish my daughter was here before her in-law came, she would have helped me, this work is very much for me, I still need to go to the market to get some stuff that I will prepare for them. We don't even know the caliber of who they are, but nothing we can do, they will accept us the way we are. But let me at least make everywhere neat and conducive for them" Mrs. Bernard thought and continued.

She stepped out to pour the trash into the trash drum when she saw her husband clearing the environment. 

She smiled to herself and moved closer to where he was.

"Good morning dear, how was your night? I can see that you are very happy to meet your proposed in-law" She said jokingly.
