The Encounter

A middle-aged man entered the sitting room and found his son in a devastating state. He thought for a moment about what could be the cause, but he could not figure it out, so he decided to ask him.

"Wilson... Wilson... Wilson"

Hmm!

"What is the matter? What happened? Are you OK? " He asked, raising his brows.

"Dad, it's nothing, I'm fine, I will sort it out," Wilson answered, putting on a forced smile.

"No, I'm your father. I know when you are fine, and your look does not say so. " His father interrupted him.

Wilson tried to open his mouth, but nothing came out. He sighed. He averted his gaze from his father's face, and the glow in his eyes dimmed. Recognizing his son's conflicted expression, Wilson's father, Mr. Benson, embraced him. They stood still for a couple of seconds without saying a word.

Then everything changed...

Wilson never serious with any relationship again; he only plays around with different sophisticated ladies. He believed that with the status, wealth, and position of his parents, he could get any woman he wanted. Love was never a thing to him.

His father has cautioned him on many occasions, but it all fell on deaf ears. There was even a particular lady called Cynthia who was following him around. His parents liked her and advised him to marry her because she not only came from a rich family but was well mannered. He gave the excuse of not having feelings for her.

Cynthia tried hard for the relationship, but it didn't work. She even introduced herself to his parents as his fiancee, but everything was nuts. Wilson would always be Wilson. A guy of the moment, nothing much, nothing less.

Cynthia was committed to this relationship until one day when she came to Wilson's apartment unannounced. She was disappointed with what she saw in his sitting room. But she musters the courage to enter his bedroom and see what the sound she was hearing was all about. What she witnessed shattered her illusions and she saw that Wilson was truly his.

She left the apartment with tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile, her shout alerted Wilson's parents that they were in the main building. They quickly rushed out to see what the hell was happening. However, seeing the teary eyes of Cynthia. Wilson's parents looked at each other's faces and sighed. Without anyone telling them, they understood what had just happened. This wasn't the first, and perhaps it won't be the last.

Wilson continued with this kind of life until one fateful day. She met a tailor, a local one, precisely. He came with his friend to take his measurements for his friend's wedding.

But when he saw her, her appearance it pissed him off. He frowned and thought of how his friend could stoop so low to give his wedding clothes to a local tailor.

"Good afternoon, sir. This is Sophy Stitches. " She managed to say, seeing the disgusted look on Wilson's face.

"Em, Em. Sophy stitches my foot. I don't do local tailors like you. I can't allow you to spoil my clothes. " His cold, raspy voice didn't hide his disdain for the environment and the young lady in front of him.

However, his gaze never left the deep eyes of the woman in front of him. Something was drawing him in. He was saying something else while the look on his face showed something else entirely. However, Wilson was unaware of this subconscious attitude of his.

"Sorry for my friend's behavior." Wilson's friend, Adam, apologized.

Wilson, on the other hand, could not get himself together after everything was over. The young lady's enticing eyes kept appearing in his mind. He tried to shake this strange image of the face from his mind, but everything he did seemed to be for nuts. The enchanting face of the lady was stuck in his mind. And the more he looked at her face, the more he found her beautiful.

"What the hell is happening to me?" He muttered. "Am I high or what?"

Before the day was up, he decided in his heart to give the lady his clothes to sew, though he couldn't explain his sudden change of heart. Perhaps the continuous image of the lady's face in his mind did the wonder. So he collected her number and gave her a call.

Seeing her phone ringing, Sophia did not know who was calling her. She picked up the call and when she discovered it was the previous arrogant prick, she was furious. She wanted to end the call. However, when she remembered that customers are always right and that a lot of money would come from this job, she swallowed the bitterness in her heart and listened to what Wilson had to say.

The following day, Sophia dressed up quickly in the morning and went to Wilson's house at the address sent to her. She was amazed by the mansion she saw. She quickly asked the security, and the security team went to confirm it with their boss.

"Good morning, sir," she stuttered.

"Take and sew them. Do not spoil my clothes. " He said and walked away.

Sophia quickly walked out of the mansion and started blaming herself for how he could be so engrossed in admiring someone's house like that.

Sophia put the embarrassing thought out of her mind and got to work on the clothes. She took her time sewing the clothes, and after a week, she finished them. She returned the clothes to him in his office. She now knows that he is the CEO of the company.

'I see. CEO. I'm also a CEO. Though it is not as groundbreaking as yours, CEO is still CEO.' She said it proudly in her heart.

He collected the clothes and checked. He was amazed at what he saw. "What! Did she sew this!?" He wanted to confirm it, but his ego didn't allow that. He pretended as if he didn't like it. He curled his lips upward and uttered

"This is so-so." He paid her with a forced poker face.

However, Sophia didn't care about his thoughts or comments. What she cared about was her pay, and when she checked the amount, her jaw dropped. She rolled her eyes, not believing what she saw.

'Truly. Rich people have no care for money. ' She shook her head.
