CHAPTER 21: The CEO's fianceé (1)

The next morning, when Eve finished preparing for work, she goes down and finds Charlie in the living room sitting down, she goes close to him "aren't you going to work?" Eve said, "I was waiting for you so we can go together" Charlie said, Eve blushed and nods her head in agreement and both of them entered his car and he drove off.

They reached the company; Charlie packed his car in the underground parking lot and they both stepped out of the car and went inside an elevator that goes directly to floor where Charlie's office is. When they got to the floor, Eve turns to go to the direction of her office but is stopped by Charlie; "where are you going to?", Charlie asked; "I am going to my office, do you need anything?", Eve asked wondering why he asked where she was going; "because I already moved all your things to my office" Charlie said; Eve is shocked and wondered if she heard him well or she is beginning to hear things; "What did you just say?, "You moved what to your office, "my things?, "Why?" Eve asked perplexed;

"Because you are now my fianceé and I need you near me, understand?" Charlie said with a little smirk on his face.

Eve became suspicious of him; she thinks that he is up to something and that thing does not seem good but she follows him to his office anyway. 

Charlie meets his secretary, Dan pacing at the front of his office; "good morning....si..sir and morning Ma'am" Dan greeted both of them; "good morning to you too" Eve greeted him cheerfully;

"what is it?" Charlie asked.

"Si...sir, you have a visitor" said Dan stuttering; Eve notices that Dan is nervous and is curious about the visitor he talked about.

"Speak!" Charlie shouted slowly becoming impatient; "it's Miss Natasha si...sir" said Dan, sweat beads begins to form at the top of his head; "what! Why did you let her into my office! You know that any visitor are to wait for me in the waiting room until they are approved by me to let them into my office" said Charlie.

The sweat on Dan's face begins to trickle down his face; "that's what I told her but she keeps on ranting about who she is and forced herself into the office, a..am so..sorry sir" Dan apologized.

"You can go I will handle this myself" Charlie said; "okay sir" Dan said and sprint off. 

Charlie opens the door to his office before he knew that eve wasn't following him, he turns and looked at her; "what are you doing standing there?" Charlie asked; "I don't think I should go inside with you, you both need privacy" Eve said.

Charlie's face becomes dark and he frowns; "you can come in with me, besides she won't be in my office for long.

"mm..what does he mean she won't be there for long" Eve thought.
