CHAPTER 114

Somewhere in New York city~~~~~

They Anderson's are celebrating the release of the head of the family which is George Anderson.

"Finally I am out" George said smiling.

"Yes. Now you can also fight Eve with me and destroy the Devan corporation" Adriana said.

"I thought you always wanted the company back" Sofia said.

"I changed my mind mom. I know I can't get the company because I know who is backing Eve, so I rather destroy it! If I can't get the company then nobody will! " Adriana said with hatred and contempt seen clearly in her eyes.

"To our successful plan! Cheers!" George shouted and raised his glass up.

"Cheers!" Adriana and her mother shouted chorusly. All of them laughed and enjoy themselves.

Charlie's office~~~~~

Eve is still trying to wondering who the culprit is that made Charlie this angry. 

"Charlie! Charlie! Charlie!!" Eve shouted.

"Huh... What?" Charlie answered. He was now looking at Eve.

"Who is the person that sent Candice to spy on me and try to stunt the growth of the company?" Eve asked.

"It's your cousin, Adriana" Charlie said gritting his teeth.

"What! Adriana! Really!?" Eve shouted.

"Yes" Charlie answered.

"Why would she still be targeting me and now also the company?" Eve wondered.

"It's probably because they can't get the company back so since they can't get back the company, they want to destroy it and they also seem to know that you will not be happy if the company crumbles" Charlie said.

"What did I do to deserve these kind of treatment from them? Why did god make them my relatives? Is it a crime that I am related to them? Why! Why do they want to destroy me so bad?" Eve lamented and she was beginning to cry.

Charlie saw Eve crying and he started to felt a pinch in his heart. He goes close to Eve and hugs her and said to her.

"You did not do anything to them. It's their lose dor them not to see the kind of person you are."

"Charlie?" Eve looked up at Charlie.

"Umm?" Charlie hummed.

"What kind of person do you think I am?" Eve suddenly asked surprising Charlie.

"You are a kind, beautiful, hot, innocent, fun to be with, hardworking and independent lady and I am honored and happy that you are mine" Charlie said and he kissed her on her lips. 

Charlie and Eve kissed until they were out of breath before they separate to catch their breath.

"What would we do to them?" Eve asked Charlie and Charlie knows who Eve referred to as 'who'.

"We would wait for now and pretend we don't know anything and also resume letting your secretaries know about your schedule again so we can know what their plan is" Charlie said his voice is hoarse and somewhere below his abdomen is as hard as rockand ready for action.

"How will you find out what their plan is?" Eve asked.

"Leave that to me. I will take care of that. Now let us continue from where we stopped because my little buddy is already at attention" Charlie held Eve's hand and placed it on his d**k.

"Ooh..." Eve said and chuckled🤭.

Charlie lifted Eve off from the sofa in the center of the office "ah... Hahaha" Eve is surprised by Charlie's sudden action. Charlie carries her towards the door that leads to the mini apartment in his office.

Charlie added the built-in mini apartment in his office in case of when he has much work and does not want to go home but now that Eve has entered into his life there won't be any need to stay back and not go home but also the mini apartment seem to have another use😜😋 "hee... It's still very useful 😉."

One hour later~~~~

Charlie's office~~~~

Charlie and Eve are lying down on the bed hugging each other.

"Hey Charlie I need to go back to the company" Eve said.

"Do you really need to go?" Charlie said pouting his lips and protesting like a child that is being asked to let go of his favourite toy.

"Yes I really need to go. I have work and meetings to attend to" Eve said.

"Are they very important? Can't you just postpone them still tomorrow?" Charlie asked.

"No I can't" Eve said this time looking at Charlie.

"Okay. There are some new clothes in the closet that you can choose from and change because your other cloth is crumbled" Charlie said.

Eve "..." "Okay" she said after looking at her crumbled clothes on the floor.

Eve stood up from the bed and went into the bathroom to freshen up. Few minutes later she came out dressed and ready to go.

"I will see you out" Charlie said.

"Okay" Eve said and walks out of the room. Charlie followed Eve and escorts her to the elevator on the CEO's floor.

"You can go back now" Eve said.

"Mhm... Be careful and drive safely" Charlie said. He was reluctant to let Eve go but he has to let her work. Eve enters the elevator when it opens and she waves Charlie final goodbye before the elevator closes. Charlie sighs and goes back to his office.

Immediately Eve settles down in her office to start the day's work, Sue and Nars walked in.

"Good morning Eve!" Sue and Nars greeted Eve.

"Good morning Sue and Nars" Eve greeted them smiling.

"What took you so long? You just needed to know who the person behind the spy was and you took like forever" Nars said.

"Yes what took you so long?" Sue asked.

"Well after we found out who the person behind the spy is, we spent some time together" Eve said.

"Doing what?" Sue asked. Eve began to blush hard.

"No! Noo...! You don't mean you did that?!" Sue shouted covering her mouth in surprise.

"Ye...sss" Eve said in a low voice but her friends still heard it.

"No way! Eve! You are a bad girl!" Nars said. Both Sue and Nars began teasing her.

"Let's forget about that" Eve brushes off the topic.

"Yes, that's right! Who is the person behind the spy?" Sue remembered and asked.

Eve hesitates for a while before she answered "it was my cousin Adriana."

Sue and Nars were stupified to the extent they were left speechless for like a minute before both of them shouted together.

"What!"
