Mila's POV
It's been two days since I discovered Alexis's little act, and I still couldn't fathom the fact that she had faked her pregnancy just to keep Angel by her side. How desperate could she be? The revelation felt like a heavy weight pressing on my chest, tightening with every thought. I was caught in a tumultuous whirlwind of confusion, frustration, and anger, wondering how I could have ever underestimated her cunning.
Each moment spent dwelling on her betrayal left me conflicted.
