Chu Yichen was a little thirsty after reading five stories in a row. He glanced sideways and saw Li An'an leaning against the door, staring at him with a complicated expression.

"Why are you in a daze? Cut us some fruit."

Li An'an snapped out of her daze and hurried over with the sliced cantaloupe.

"Daddy, have some melon," Li Baobao suddenly said.

Li An'an was so shocked that she dropped the fruit plate and it almost crashed on the floor. Luckily, Chu Yichen caught it calmly to prevent dirtying the carpet. He placed the plate on the coffee table and explained to Li An'an who was in shock, "She and I are quite fated. She started calling me Daddy the first time we met," he teased.

Li Baobao knew that she had made a mistake. She lowered her head and played with her fingers. She didn't do it on purpose. She was used to it.
