Chapter twenty three
(Cassandra's POV)
After I agreed to give him a chance, Princeton took my bike to his car and put it in the back of his Jeep.
I climb into the passenger seat while he goes to the driver seat and starts the car. A few students who had nothing better to do with their lives were staring in our direction and murmuring. Some were taking pictures in order to aid the next rumor.
We don't talk much apart from me giving him directions to Michelle's house. I haven't seen her since the day of my accident and it was starting to bug me.
What was she doing there anyway, I was too preoccupied with Matthew's departure that I didn't pay her much attention. I've been quite a shitty friend.
I've been avoiding Mom and Michelle is literally the only one I have left.
A few turns later, we arrive at Michelle's house and Princeton stops the car.
