He requested, very quietly and she felt that familiar tug on her chest. She felt bad for ignoring him when he had just lost his mother.
She immediately turned around and nodded. Although he was not expecting that she would, he was glad that she had obliged.
Soon enough, he had pulled her into his chest, hugging her small body close to his. Their legs were toppled over each other under the duvet.
The clock ticked away but Kian could not sleep. He just could not bring himself up to fall asleep.
How could he?? After what had happened??? How could he?
He moved a little to check if she had fallen into a deep sleep. And she hummed in protest. It was clear that she was still not asleep.
He removed himself from her. And she let go of him turning to the other side, pulling the duvet back over her body.
