1.First meet

The sunlight poured in through the glass windows of the coffee shop, gilding the wooden floor and classical furniture with a warm golden colour. The coffee shop was filled with the rich aroma of coffee and the soft melody of light music, creating a peaceful and cosy atmosphere. Anna was busy working in front of the coffee machine, her hands moving skilfully and naturally with concentration.

Her work was a daily routine, but this day seemed destined to be different. The shop doorbell jingled and a tall, distinguished man entered the coffee shop. He wore a well-tailored dark suit, his dark hair was slightly curled, and his whole person seemed calm and confident. Although his presence changed the atmosphere around him slightly, Anna didn't have much time to think about it.

Anna quickly adjusted her mood and prepared to greet a new customer. Smiling politely, she walked up to the man, "Welcome, our special drink today is a caramel latte, I wonder if you have any special requests?"

The man smiled slightly, his gaze lingering on Anna's face for a moment before he replied, "Sounds good, I'll have a caramel latte then."

"Yes, one moment please." Anna nodded her head and returned to the coffee machine to get busy. She operated the coffee machine skilfully, her hands moving smoothly and naturally. Despite a hint of curiosity in her mind about the identity of this customer, she didn't linger much.

The coffee machine made a gurgling sound, and Anna's thoughts couldn't help but drift away. She had never seen a customer with such an extraordinary temperament before, and even though he didn't show any special request or attitude, that light elegance and deep eyes made her feel a hint of something unusual.

While the coffee was being prepared, Anna couldn't help but glance at the customer a few times. He was sitting by the window, his eyes leisurely scanning the shop. His face was cold and beautiful, as if he possessed a unique charm. When the coffee was ready, Anna brought it to the man, "Here's your caramel latte, I hope you like it."

The man took the coffee, his gaze still mild, "Thank you, it looks good." He took a sip and a satisfied smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, "This coffee tastes very good, what a pleasant morning."

Anna couldn't help but smile slightly at the compliment, "I'm glad you like it. If there's anything else you need, feel free to let me know."

"Of course," the man's gaze lingered on Anna's face, he seemed a little hesitant, "Actually, I have a question for you."

Anna looked at him curiously, "What question, please?"

The man paused slightly, then said, "Do you think this kind of coffee has anything to do with your usual job? Or does this job fulfil you?"

Anna was a little surprised by the question, but thought about it carefully, "I think that although this job is not complicated, it is reassuring and pleasurable. I love making each cup of coffee with care and seeing the smiles of satisfied customers."

The man nodded, looking agreeable, "You're right, the meaning of a job often lies in your dedication and love for it."

The dialogue between the two men was brief, but it carried an ineffable depth. Anna sensed that the man's gaze seemed to be hiding more of a story, and her instincts told her that this customer might not be as simple as he appeared to be.

After the coffee was finished, the man stood up, his gaze sweeping over Anna one last time, "Thank you for the coffee and the conversation, I'll be back."

Anna smiled and responded, "Feel free to stop by anytime."

The man left the coffee shop and Anna watched him walk out the door. Her mind was still filled with curiosity about him, that sense of mystery and elegance impressed her about this customer.

Anna's thoughts were interrupted when the doorbell dinged again. Although her daily routine quickly brought her attention back to reality, she knew that the man she had met by chance would leave a profound impact on her life. Who he was, what he said, and even that extraordinary air of his had planted a huge seed in her ordinary life.
