Chloe could not believe Evan was still thinking about Jill, after everything she made to him, his feelings for her were alive yet. He should have loved her despite claiming otherwise.

With those thoughts in mind, Chloe entered the house and she was following straight to her room when Emma stopped her before she reached the stairs.

“Chloe, lunch is served. I was about to call you and Evan.” Emma said gently.

“Thank you Emma, but I’m with a boring headache and I’d prefer to lay down a bit.” Chloe simply said.

“Do you need any medicine?” Emma sounded worried.

“No, thanks. I already took it. It’s just tiredness.” Chloe answered.

“Ok, get well soon.” Emma said not feeling convinced and Chloe just nodded and followed her way.
