At Wang's house..
Wang never felt the need of an alarm clock, to wake himself up early in the morning. His brain was his biological alarm clock. From years, he had been waking up at the exact time, without any need of an external assistance.
As per the daily routine, the biological alarm went off exactly at six o' clock in the morning. Wang woke up, and straightaway headed to his bathroom.
A few minutes later, he was outside his mansion's gate, wearing a blue tracksuit, as he began to jog.
Wang had a routine of jogging to the gym, and no matter how hectic his previous day had been, he made sure never to bring any change to his next day's plan.
His driver, Robin, would reach the house half an hour later, and clean the car. He always had the duplicate keys of Wang's mansion. He would then wait for the arrival of Wang's personal assistant.
But, today was a different day. Wang's personal assistant - Stacy, had left the job. She would not be coming today. The 'Human resource' department did not notify of any new recruitment. Neither Wang, nor Robin was aware of the new employee.

At Lina's house..
Unfortunately, Lina did not have the 'biological clock', that Wang was blessed with. She had always been dependent on an alarm clock to wake her up in the morning. Although, the morning timings of her previous job, at the restaurant, were very convenient, yet she frequently failed to reach there on time.
Lina had set the alarm for six o'clock. The clock piece, on which the alarm was set, was big and bulky. Aunt Ning had purchased it for Lina. The old one was not powerful enough for her. The new clock had a loud and a terrifying alarm sound. This was to ensure that Lina would wake up on time.
But.. Aunt Ning was wrong. The alarm was powerful enough to wake up the entire town.. but failed to wake up Lina.
Half an hour later..
Shouts of Grandmother woke Lina up. She hurriedly looked at the clock. Her biggest nightmare had just come true. The alarm had failed to wake her up from the sleep, and she was left with a very little time to get ready.
Lina hurriedly got down from the bed and ran towards the dressing room. She saw the one-piece dress, the makeup material and other fashionable stuff, that she had chosen, and kept aside, for the day. 'Thank God! I had prepared everything before falling asleep' thought Lina, as she started to freshen up.
Her actions were soon interrupted by a thought. 'I won't be able to find a taxi from anywhere near, at this time.. in the morning. And, I can't afford to loose more time to find one,' Lina thought and ran towards the main door of the house.
"Lina, where are running to? Why haven't you changed your night dress yet?" yelled grandma.
"Grandma! I'm so late.. God! I'm so late," yelled Lina as she ran outside the house, without answering any of the grandmother's questions.
Lina's friend, Willie, lived a few houses away from her house. Lina ran to his house and rang the door bell. Willie did not open it for a minute. Lina rang the door bell many a times. "Willie, open the door," shouted Lina.
"Coming! Coming!" shouted Willie and opened the door. "What time is it? Asked Willie as he rubbed his sleepy eyes with his fingers.
"I'm getting late for the work. I don't think I'll get a taxi from somewhere near. You have to drop me at work," requested Lina.
"Okay, give me a few minutes. Let me change my clothes," replied Willie.
"Yes! I need to get ready as well. Meanwhile, you change your clothes and come to my house with your car," said Lina and hurriedly ran back to her home.
"Grandma! Grandma! Open the door" shouted Lina as she rang the bell. "Why have you closed the door?" continued Lina.
Grandmother hurriedly opened the main door. "Girl! Where did you go?" asked grandmother.
"Grandma! I'm so late. I'm going to get ready. Willie will drop me at work," said Lina and ran into her room to freshen up.
It was time for Lina to implement.. all that she had been learning and planning in the past few days- the glamorous outfit, matching high-heeled sandals, a fit-for-the-workplace and sophisticated matching jewelry and the makeup!
Hours of practice had made her an expert in glam-up-fast tools and techniques- skin cleansing, the primer and the color correcting concealer, applying the flesh-toned concealer, using a foundation, bronzer, blush, the highlighter, followed by the eyebrow pencil, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, lip-liner and a lipstick.
Lina was ready in a record time. She smiled, as she looked at herself in the mirror. "Perfect!" She praised herself.
Honk! Honk!
It was Willie, just right on time.. pressing the horn of his car, as he waited outside Lina's house.
"Bye grandma!" shouted Lina and ran outside towards the car.
"Lina! Breakfast is almost ready," shouted grandma, but Lina was already gone.
