She's The One!

The Next Day...

Sherry sat down beside Catherine on the sofa in the lobby and give her the list of the toiletries that need to be replenished in every room. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, tissue, body lotion, and among others.

"You also need to check the fridge, if the beverages are well stock, bottled water, coffee and sugar, and creamer," said Sherry.

Catherine nodded. She took the list and familiarize herself with it.

"Come with me into the stock room. You also need to make sure the supply won't fall to zero. Since you are in charge of restocking the guest toiletries and essentials then you also need to make sure that our stock is in abundance. Once the stock is near to depletion you can tell me what are those things that need to be re-stock so that we can order it from our supplier one week before the shortage happens. You got me, Catherine?"

"Yes Sherry," she answered.

"Let's go now to the storage area. Then I will show you how to bring the supplies to each room and what you need to do to make sure each room is well equipped with everything. There will be other people who will clean the room from top to bottom. All you need to do is take care of the supplies in each room. Make sure the guest has no complaints. Okay?"

"Okay...got it," answered Catherine. She followed Sherry into the storage and supply room area.

After getting acquainted with some of the empty rooms on the fourth floor, Sherry brought her to the fifth floor were 5 presidential rooms were being housed. These rooms were for VIP. Very expensive and most of the time only families of wealthy people can afford the suites. Each Presidential suites consist of a small living room, dining room, small kitchenette, shower, and bathtub.

"You will be in charge of cleaning the Presidential suite #1. This suite is rarely used. So two times cleaning every week is enough unless there is a guest that will occupy it every day. I will leave you here for a while to get acquainted with the suite. Here's the key, don't ever lose it!" said Sherry.

"Okay," she answered.

Sherry exited the room and left Catherine alone in the suite. She locked the door. She roamed her eyes around the room, it has a masculine aura to it. She jumped right into the big soft bed and her body bounced up, she got a wide smile plastered on her face. She jumped on the bed's surface a few times more. This is fun! Since no one is watching, she keeps doing it until she finally got tired.

She entered the bathroom and checked the shower and bathtub area. They were clean. The living room, dining room, and kitchenette area were also clean. Maybe needs some dusting here and there but doesn't require hard work or thorough cleaning.

Her iPhone's ringtone suddenly burst in the air. She checked who was the caller, it's John.

"Catherine, where are you now?"

"I'm in the presidential suite #1 in the hotel, John. Looking for something to clean," she said.

"Okay. See you tonight then?"

She frowned at her mobile device. "Huh? I'm working, John. My first day here. Please don't ruin it. Meet you some other time."

"Wait...do not end the call yet. Just want to hear your voice, let's talk a little bit."

She grimaced and groaned.

"I miss you, Catherine," he said gently.

Lol, she smiled a little. They had just shared a wild night the other day.

"Miss me or my body?" she asked.

"Both..." he answered thickly.

Catherine knew so well John's huge appetite in the bedroom.

"In fact, I wanted to check in there in the hotel you were working at. Is there any available room for me?" he said teasing her.

"No. sorry. All the rooms are fully booked now, Sir. Try again some other day!"

She heard him chuckling before she turns off her iPhone.

Damn wealthy people! they think they just can waste your precious time anytime they want and get away with it all the time.

Yeah, she has work to do!

She retrieves a piece of cleaning clothe from her apron and spray some water on it and wipe the surface of the glass table. She does the same process to all the hard surfaces all over the suite.

By the time she was finished with wiping dust her back was aching. She was grateful it's not as dusty as she expected it to be.

She full blasted the airconditioning system and the room started to feel cold and comfortable, she eyed the soft wide big, here I come! She jumped right into it and lay down comfortably, hoping to get at least ten minutes of a power nap to rest her body.

Ten minutes later...

Done with all the cleaning and a bit of resting, she felt refreshed and invigorated. She took off her hotel uniform and exited the door of the presidential suite.

When she tilted her head towards the hallway, she saw two handsome men about to enter the presidential room #3. That was also the moment the empty water spray bottle accidentally fell from her grasp and made a loud thud in the floor, thankfully it's made of plastic so it just bounced back in the floor.

She caught their attention somehow because they turned their heads and looked at her.

The handsome guy #1 picks up the water spray bottle and returned it to her.

"Hey beauty, here's your bottle. You work here?" he asked.

"Yes. Sorry Sir, hope I didn't trouble you," she uttered an apology.

The handsome guy just smiled at her in a friendly way.

"Nah, don't say sorry, no need to apologize. I will pick up the spray bottle over and over again for you if there's a need for it," he said, then he winked at her.

He turned around and entered the suite.

Catherine smiled at his retreating form. Her feet start moving and she sauntered towards the stairs leading down to the fourth floor.

Her iPhone's ringtone sounded again, she got a caller, she paused at the top of the stairs and answered the incoming call.

"Hey, John..."

"How are you doing in your new work? Did you like it?" he asked.

"Duh! It's fine, just finish cleaning one of the suites here on the fifth floor. You just called me earlier!"

"Why do you keep calling me?" she's getting annoyed.

"Because I miss you and I love you," he said softly.

Catherine didn't reply.

"It's been a long time that I miss hearing your voice telling me that you miss me," he said in a forlorn voice.

She rolls her eyes. "I miss you!" she said, just to humor him.

"Miss you more Catherine!"

"I'm going downstairs, need to resumed my work," she meant to end the call.

"Wait! I will pick you up at 5:30 PM this afternoon after your work shift. Let's bake some cake in my oven, I know you've been dying to use it..."

Catherine's eyes sparkled in excitement. "Okay! I will wait for you after my work shift. See you later..."

"See you later my love..."

Catherine resumed walking down the stairway.

While handsome guy#1 catches Catherine's form before she disappears below the stairs. He was about to go after her but his companion called him from the suite.

Finally, she found the one! She's the one! The perfect one.

He finally found the woman he's been looking for all this time! he told himself.
