Mia tries not to think about the fact that she’s working for Elon’s rival company. As much as she wants to hurt him like he’s hurt her, she doesn’t particularly enjoy still feeling so close to him.
When she took the meeting, her new boss’ eyes lit up when she informed him what she was doing last. They all seem under the impression that Mia is going to snap and tell them every piece of proprietary information she learned during her time with Dahan Tech. Though they never outright ask her, Mia can feel that they expect it.
It’s not that Mia cares about keeping their secrets for Elon’s sake, but it just doesn’t feel like the right thing to do. Not to mention, Louise stayed at Dahan Tech. Mia couldn’t ask her to leave a job that she loves just for Mia’s sake, and she definitely couldn’t actively work against her when she’s doing something so important.
