Hengfeng Village is next to Lunar Bay, not far as the map shows, but whose side of Lunar Lake is it on?
To go to Hengfeng Village, one must traverse the wasteland that is Lunar Lake.
The villages here are all spread out, with winding roads; it took nearly two hours by car to arrive from Lunar Bay.
The desert villages are mostly the same, hidden in the vastness of the blowing sand, with a few weary trees and shrubs occasionally seen; with a gust of wind, they shake off a coat of yellow sand, and the houses are gray, from roof to wall only one color is seen, bleak with no sign of scenery.
Chi Yue didn't need to ask for directions and went straight to the courtyards of Gong Jiawen and Gong Jiawu.
The houses of the two brothers are connected, one on the left and the other on the right, each with its own door, separated by a dividing wall in the middle. Both families had dogs, and before anyone approached the yard, the dogs were already barking fiercely inside.
