The last days in the month of November were the worst set of days for Calla. Alongside with the preparation for her upcoming exams, she had to endure seeing Rose Collins trying her utmost best to be with her husband.
Every morning, the woman would be in the kitchen supervising breakfast. It wasn't only limited to that, but lunch and dinner were included.
Her mother-in-law was very pleased with her actions. The middle-aged woman did not miss throwing a word or two in her face, saying that Rose Collins was a good example of how she should be as her son's wife.
As if that wasn't enough, the servants in the mansion seemed to have been touched by Rose's actions. On a fateful night, Calla had decided to join dinner in the dining room, and coincidentally, she stumbled upon some maids whispering among themselves.
''Miss Collins is trying her best to please the Master.''
''Old Madam seemed very pleased too.''
