The nightmare came true

Maya immediately pulls her hand when she unknowingly touches the thorns of a rose and makes her hands bleed now.

She is still waiting for Marve to come home but until now there is no sign of Marve's arrival, and her feelings are getting restless now.

"Madam..."

Maya turns around when Dewi comes to her.

"It's late, you better get some rest... Maybe the master won't come home tonight."

"But tomorrow our wedding party...." Maya stares sadly, but more than that what worries her was not the wedding party but rather Marve's current state because Marve still hasn't called her anymore.

The rain has subsided for quite a while, although it was past midnight the search was still conducted by manual means so as not to occur landslides aftermath.

"We continue the search tomorrow only, the current conditions are not conducive." Said the chief of the rescue team.

"I'll keep looking for him, with or without your help. Marven must still be alive down there." Bisma insisted, he was still digging a pile of soil with a shovel that he held while crying.

All the workers who saw the hard work of Bisma who didn't want to give up finally decided to return to the location of the search and help Bisma with tools because the heavy equipment they have also been buried with landslides.

Now Bisma's hope to save Marve was very big.

The morning has arrived, Maya and her family have been at the hotel where the reception was held at this time.

They've done their makeup, and now they're just waiting for Marve to come back.

"Please eat even just a little bite, Maya. Mrs. Dewi says you haven't eaten since yesterday." Mina said. She brought a plate of cake in her hand to persuade Maya to eat. Maya's face was indeed beautiful but could not cover her pale face.

Some of the guests who came to know how Marve proposed to her at Darwis' birthday party at the time, so they smirked at her because Maya was just a waitress at that time. 

"Cinderella seems to have been dumped." That's what they say, it hurts Maya a little bit but she doesn't have time to respond, her whole mind is focused only on Marve now.

Not long after, Darwis arrived with his family, he smiled and walked up to Maya, and sat next to her.

"It looks like my grandson has realized his mistake, so he left you this way." Said Darwis laughing happily, he felt he had won against Maya because during their previous meeting, he always felt Maya was superior to him.

"My husband must have come, just calm down Grandpa. You should be worried because your grandson is in a landslide mining site right now." Maya replied, she looked blankly for some reason her feelings are getting restless, now even appears to fear if something bad happens to Marve.

"At the mining site?" Darwis was shocked, he immediately asked the wedding organizers to turn on the television screen that is at the altar at this time

"A subsequent landslide has occurred at the Cakra Group mining site, and claimed more lives, two people were declared missing, one was the son of a mine worker who was looking for his father and another was the managing director of the Cakra group, until now there has been no news of the continuation of the landslide that occurred at midnight last night."

Darwis again sat limp, as well as Maya, they did not know if there was a landslide after last night.

Her tears dripping instantly, Maya cries hysterically after seeing the news on television.

"Lie! The news is a lie! Marve is fine, my husband is fine." Maya cried hysterically.

Hearing Maya's screams, Mina who is currently with guests with Arya immediately ran to Maya.

Now the party atmosphere becomes chaotic and some guests are seen looking at Maya sadly.

"No, Marve must have survived," Maya speaks with a blank stare, she doesn't believe the news she saw on television so she gets back up and waits while holding her flowers. Hoping that Marve will come as promised soon.

"Marve must have come, he promised me," Maya said with all her might holding back her tears, and a limp body.

"Maya..." Mina approached, she closed her mouth with both hands when she saw the news on television that was re-broadcast.

She then immediately hugs Maya tightly, as Maya's body slowly begins to collapse.

"Dad..." Agus immediately approached Darwis along with Herlyn and his wife because he saw Darwis' pale face.

Darwis who can only sit frozen watching the television news immediately went and slapped Agus's face.

"You idiot! Why did you let Marven see the landslide and you're still here? Isn't that your job?" Darwis screamed angrily, his face flushed. His anger was unstoppable.

Agus did deliberately contact Bisma that night and asked him and Marve to replace him because he didn't want to come to such a dirty place. He didn't know that something like this would happen to Marve that makes Darwis very angry now.

"I'm a sorry dad... I..."

"That's why I can never give you a company. You're irresponsible. Now go and find my grandson or I will hoard you also into the ground." Shouting Darwis, he diverted his worry by scolding Agus.

And with fear and anger, Agus immediately left with his wife leaving the party.

"Calm down, Grandpa, Marve will be safe," said Herlyn soothingly.

The party was confirmed to have failed, with only a few immediate families left.

Maya was still sitting limply in the aisle alone, she still hopes Marve will come.

While Mina and Arya decide not to bother Maya in the meantime and just look from a distance.

Darwis has returned, having deployed all his men in search of Marve, he then returns and walks close to Maya.

He then sits next to Maya.

Maya looks devastated at the moment, she was silent but her tears keep flowing out.

"Marven we will survive ..." said Darwis, rubbing Maya's shoulder softly.

"Marven will be fine, I can still feel his warm breath." Said Darwis again he was just as devastated but seeing Maya sitting alone here made him feel sorry for Maya.

So slowly he embraces Maya and hugs her making Maya cry more and more.

Maya bursts back into tears, thinking about the worst possible outcome.

"He will be fine..." Said Darwis, his heart is also broken at this time.

How could this misfortune befall his grandson, Marve had suffered enough to lose her parents from a young age and he could not have fared tragically like this.

Because previously he had only seen Marve come back to life when Dewi sent him some photos of Marve's togetherness with Maya who always showed his expanding smile.

He was not entirely opposed to Marve's marriage to Maya, he simply doesn't want Marve to end up like him marrying a poor woman and eventually take all his possessions and make him have to start his business back from scratch.

But Maya seems different, this girl seems to sincerely love Marve and she's not a hypocritical girl, she's not even being nice to him.

Darwis let go of his arms slowly and held Maya's hand tightly.

"Marven must be back to us, Maya."
