Promise

Agung still thinks about Andre's remarks that he will not back to America if he hasn't got Maya back.

While feeding the sparrows, Agung thought of the possibility that what Andre was saying might be true.

If Maya was still alive then whose body was found in the fire six years ago?

All the flashbacks to what happened six years ago are spinning in his head. When he first got word that Maya and Arya's house was on fire and when he got there everything was almost dusted, so he could not confirm if Maya and Arya had died.

At that time, Kania refused to perform an autopsy because Maya and Arya's bodies were not immediately interred, unfortunately, at that time he didn't have the authority to reject Kania and to be honest he also felt compassion as Kania told him.

But during the day he said goodbye after the termination of his employment as a legal advisor to the Rahayu family because of Kania, there was only Maya and Arya as well as Mina at the time.

But when it happened, there was no Mina there and Kania argued that Mina decided to go to her hometown.

Everything was full of question marks that made his head hurt while making his chest tight.

"Uncle..." The light voice was heard gasping and when Agung raised his head, a beautiful woman with a smile expanded and sparkling eyes were in front of him.

Agung notices how the girl smiles and somehow her smile reminds him of Maya, perhaps because he misses Maya so much nowadays.

Agung immediately withdraws himself when Maya suddenly sits next to him.

Is this girl a ghost?

"Uncle Agung... I'm Maya, I'm a daughter of Hendra and Rahayu."

Agung opens his eyes wide, Maya is gone then who this girl is why she claimed if she is Maya.

"Don't joke. I don't know you." Agung doesn't want to believe it, maybe he's just influenced by Andre's talk so the girl assumes that she's Maya.

Agung then wakes up and steps away from Maya.

"I'm true Maya, Kania faked my death!" Maya said she didn't give up. She then walked closer to Agung and convinced him if she was Maya.

To be honest, Agung wanted to believe this girl's words, but it was very difficult for him to accept everything this girl said with all the logic and events he had seen himself.

So Agung prefers to take Maya's hand off his arm and walk away leaving Maya.

Maya can only cry now, even Agung doesn't believe her. Now, who should she ask for help?

Agung leaned on his cane and sat in his chair, all the words the girl said were spinning around his head making him so dizzy that he had to close his eyes to calm down.

"Isn't it? I'm not wrong if Maya is still alive."

Agung opens his eyes when he hears Andre's voice suddenly.

"There are many humans on this earth who have similar faces. Open your mind, Andre!" Said Agung, everything has not been proven true.

Agung didn't want to be rash, it could be that the girl used her resemblance to Maya to benefit from the legacy of Hendra and Rahayu.

"You're the one who's supposed to open your mind wide. I won't misidentify my love." Andre said, he was angry.

Agung can only sigh heavily and leave Andre without responding to his remarks.

Maya was limp now, why was that hope so quickly faded? so what does she have to do now?

'why don't you just ask Marven for help.' Arya's voice suggesting she ask Marve for help suddenly comes to her

"Should I ask Marve for help?" Maya stops her pace and stares at the dark gray sky, and it looks like heavy rain will fall again.

Maya then looked at her phone, and smiled sadly, "What did he give me this thing for, if it's completely useless." Maya said she was upset.

She then continued her move back to her home.

Upon arriving, Maya immediately stepped into her room regardless of Dewi's words telling her to eat.

Maya slammed her body and held her phone high, "Marve, I miss you and I need you," she said while looking at a photo of Marve being wallpapered on her phone.

"Hurry home, I miss you so much." Maya gently kisses the photo on her phone screen and smiles but suddenly the phone she is holding rings showing a video call from Marve.

"What should I do?" Maya suddenly panics now, she doesn't know how to pick up a video call from Marve.

"Just slide the green one, when I call you."

Maya smiles with relief as she remembers Marve's message after giving her a mobile phone.

And Impatiently Maya follows what Marve has to say and Marve's face has now appeared all over the screen.

"Hello, my wife... What are you doing?" Ask Marve with smiles.

"All I did was think about you and miss you... Hurry home, baby."

Marve smiles, his fatigue disappears immediately after hearing Maya's sweet answer to him.

"Wait a minute, I will soon come home and will hug you all day and we can make love all night long."

Maya covers her face with a blanket because she feels so ashamed now.

"Don't cover your pretty face... I miss that smile." Asked Marve, Maya shyly shows her face back.

"I'll be back tonight, too, so get ready, baby. Because I'm not going to let you go tonight." Said Marve back, Maya's smile is back now

Maya then kisses her phone screen and says spoiled "I'll wait for you."

Marve hangs up his phone, his heart blooms even though Maya only kisses him from afar, he can still feel her warmth.

After bagging his cell phone, Marve again sees how the search for avalanche victims was still not all found

"The weather's still not good today, and it looks like it's going to rain again. It's very dangerous to look in this bad weather situation." Said the chief of the rescue team.

"DIRECTOR!" Everyone was screaming as Marve and the boy disappeared and all that was seen was a pile of land rising again.

Bisma fell limp, and his tears instantly shed, he couldn't believe what he had just seen.

He tried to run towards Marve despite crawling because his legs suddenly limped but the workers held him back because the landslide again occurred.
