Final Puzzle Piece

"Is there something wrong with the blood tests, Clark? Please, tell me now."

Vincent replied, confused about what Clark was trying to say to him. He wanted Clark to spill it out, but he did not have the energy to push for it.

Clark stared at Vincent, but did not say a word, even after Vincent demanded subtly. Instead, he glanced first at Doreen and Joshy, who were both still sitting on the sofa. Doreen was actually staring at both of them, observing the two men carefully, while Joshy was preoccupied with bobbing the balloon, up and down, as it floated in the air, as he pulled on the string, while he was holding on to the balloon. He had nothing to do, but just that.

Doreen and Clark nodded at each other, in understanding, as if a silent conversation between them, had transpired. Then, Doreen turned to Joshy beside her, who was still busy with his balloon business.

"Joshy, darling, what do you say about, getting some ice cream?"
