The Rebirth

Jessy screamed, her voice blaring louder than music itself. Tears, sorrow misfortune clouded her entire being. It was ending, her precious life she had lived. This monster, Devin who had claimed to be a friend, turning out to be the enemy. Everything ended even before it would start.

Jessy was made the manager in a company dealing on international architectural structures and construction and being promoted that way was one of the highest boon of a lifetime. She was only enjoying the life which was being forced into her. Her parents where dead already leaving her in the care of her grandparents and those strict parents had messed up with her life. With time she met him, that one whom had caught her eyes. The one she instantly loved at first sight; mostly due to her recent happenings, they've bumped into each other for quite a while so Jessy decided to pursue him. The man Samuel Jeusal was a menance himself. He disgraced Jessy at times, disregarded her as though she was a commodity. Even tarnished her reputation as a woman. But still she was so hellbent on getting this man, she was being selfish. She wanted nothing but to possess him. She wanted him all to herself that the moment she sees him with another lady, she would be like wanting to confront him, but with the way she was brought up, she couldn't allow herself to do such a thing. Until she met that monster and now here he was about to end her life because she had snatched the manager's position away from him.

Devin was like a brother to her so seeing what was unfolding before her brought fear, sorrow, shock and intense anger within her soul. She was beyond shocked and at loss for words. His voice carried hatred as he spoke, those voice which had been soft was only getting harsher and harsher. Hatred burning in those lilac eyes.

"Please Devin think this through!"

Jessy begged as the man came even closer with her taking every steps back which was leading her to the open balcony with no railings. Devin held a gun pointed and Jessy couldn't bare to see herself die again. This was her third reincarnation. Her family people had done nothing but deceive her, killed her parents and it was discovered that her aunt was the cause of their death. She always wanted revenge but it always ended at this point... death. She had always seen this coming, sometimes, she never expected it so it was sure that even though you are saddened to the point of wanting to kill just for your satisfaction, it was never worth it. In the end, Samuel was never hers, her killer actually killed her. Those previous reincarnation, ended up with death and it was done by different persons whom she held so high of. First was her boss she considered a father, killed her just because of she was progressing in business and that he wasn't. Second, it was her best friend who had killed her because someone who she doesn't even love for one bit was crushing on her and it happened that her so called best friend had a thing for him too. Then this man whom she considered as brother. Good lord, if she was given another chance, she would be greatful. She wanted a do over, she wanted to live right, she no longer wanted to dwell in the past so if any seven gods is able to hear her, they should please take pity on her and grant her another life to redo her life again. She did not want to die planning a revenge or trying to revenge, because when you avenge there would definitely be another avenger.

Jessy closed her eyes as she reached the final stage and before anyone could tell, she was falling, her eyes closed and then up above, her killer stood there with a grim expression on his face and then he walked away.

Jessy crashed on the floor, guts and blood splattering from such heights she fell from. The pain came and then death.

Jessy opened her eyes as the sunlight illuminated her skin with it's pale radiance. She stood up quick as several thoughts ran through her mind. Her death, Devin her killer or probably, instigator, because he had instigated her death by using force which pushed her off that very railings. No! Jessy, no more avenging. Live your life on your own terms, as they say experience is the best teacher so using her experience as an anchor to move on was quite the best option now so Jessy stood up from the room she was in and walked out.
