"What do you think you're doing?!" Elena exclaimed, swiftly pulling back the proposal to prevent Yuchen from taking it. Her reflexes had saved her from losing the document.

She had already introduced herself, but he wants to leave?! It was a direct insult to her!

"I already told you I was busy. I have no interest in getting to know you either. Can you please let go of that proposal? I only brought one copy!" Yuchen retorted, annoyance etched on his face.

The woman in front of him did not look bad. In fact, she had a pretty face and an attractive body. Yuchen couldn't deny his initial impression of her physical appearance. However, his mind was solely focused on getting sponsorship from Wu Jia Ni, and he didn't want any distractions at the moment.

Elena's eyes widened at his response, followed by a snort as she finally grasped the situation.

"You must be familiar with the Wang Group, right? Unless you've been too busy perfecting your looks instead of keeping up with current affairs," Elena replied sarcastically, unable to resist a jibe at his expense.

Yuchen clenched his fists as he heard the woman's scornful tone, but then something she said caught his attention.

"The Wang Group? Isn't that one of the biggest companies in China? Why that woman… " His eyes widened with realization as a thought crossed his mind, and he looked at Elena in disbelief.

Elena smiled, seeing the realization dawn on him. It seemed that he finally grasped the gravity of the situation he was in.

In truth, she could have found another man to fulfill her plan, but the desperation emanating from the man in front of her was something she could exploit.

Desperate people would do anything, right?

Yuchen then cleared his throat, attempting to regain his composure, and turned his attention back to the woman who was still reveling in her triumph.

Uhh… If he weren't so desperate for money, he would have walked away immediately, as he found the woman's expression highly displeasing.

However, his current circumstances dictated that he needed financial assistance, and seems like she is the one who could provide it.

After all, she is the CEO of Wang Group!

"Ahem, so what is it that you want, and how do you intend to help me?" Yuchen asked with a serious expression, though he tried his best to hide his inner embarrassment and annoyance.

Elena's smile widened, her lips parting to reveal her plan. However, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a woman entering the hotel restaurant. The woman seemed to be scanning the room, searching for someone she was supposed to meet.

"Let's continue this conversation in a more private setting. I have a room reserved in this hotel," Elena suggested, swiftly standing up and grabbing her bag.

Yuchen looked flustered but composed himself, standing up as well and following the woman who had taken the lead.

"Oh... who do we have here? I never expected to run into you in a place like this," a woman's voice suddenly rang out, causing both Yuchen and Elena to pause in their tracks.

"I know, right? I didn't expect to meet you in a place like this. Did you come here knowing that I frequent this place?" Elena retorted with a sarcastic tone, a sweet smile gracing her lips.

"That's exactly what I was going to say! I am a regular at this hotel! Did you come here with the knowledge that I come here often?" the woman responded confidently, a smug smile playing on her face.

"Ohh… I never thought this hotel would become your playground for your little toys. It seems I won't need to come here anymore because it is so dirty," Elena replied with a look of disdain on her face.

"Ah?! Maybe I should buy this place and ban you from ever setting foot here? I quite enjoy the view at night," Elena continued, her smile growing wider as she challenged the woman before her.

"Hah! I'm the one who's gonna buy this hotel and ban you from coming here!" said the woman with annoyance.

The woman's annoyance became more evident. She hadn't expected to encounter Elena, the woman she despised so much. Not only were they business rivals, but Elena's personality was enough to fuel her intense dislike.

Her gaze then shifted towards the man standing behind Elena. Initially, she assumed he would pass by since they were blocking the exit, but to her surprise, he remained in place.

"Hold on... You..." the woman began, her attention now drawn to the familiar face of the man standing behind Elena.

Elena's smile broadened as she noticed the woman's recognition of the man.

"Yes, he's the man you were supposed to meet," Elena stated matter-of-factly, causing the woman to turn her gaze back and forth between Elena and the man.

Elena then walked over to Yuchen, standing by his side and wrapping her arm around his.

"I never expected you to try and steal my man, Wu Jia Ni," Elena said, feigning surprise on her face.

"Come on, darling, let's leave this place," Elena continued, stepping forward and gently tugging Yuchen along with her.
