Chapter 34: The Culprit
Whatever the doctor said after that, Victor didn’t listen. He stopped listening when he mentioned the word ‘coma’. Victor had been through that before with his brother. Theo and Rose had a car accident, and she died on the spot. But his brother still tried to fight for his life. The doctors tried to save him for a while, before he also went into a coma for a few days. And then Victor simply got the news that Theo didn’t survive.
His world fell apart. He still had some hope that his brother would survive, but he was wrong.
Now, he was facing the same experience all over again. And this time was with the first woman he ever loved. Things were starting to be so good for him; Sarah made him feel like a better man, a good one. He was starting to picture himself having a family with her, Benjamin and even their own kids someday.
