Tyler's POV
I watched my daughter hold hands with my sister as they got inside the van that would bring them to the church. My wife-to-be was still inside the house to have her hair and make-up, and I needed to be at the church before she arrived. I walked towards my car while our family driver opened the car door for me. I sat on the front seat feeling so lost.
"Are you going to get married today, or are we going to attend some funerals?" Jim asked me, and I looked at him with hard stares. I know he has been working in our company since I was a little boy, so he felt so comfortable talking with us about what was on his mind, even to my parents.
"I am sorry, Mr. Edgebright, I should not have said those words." He said, and I knew he was being serious now as he focused his eyes on the road as he drove towards the church. The island's church is nestled on top of the hill, and it overlooks the entire Perfect Blue Island.
