"Hey, so how was the last battle?" A person walks up to Fushu. "Hm? Oh, it was alright, no men were hurt that's for sure!" Fushu smiles at the person. "At least that's good, I can't say the same for squad three..." The person takes a seat next to Fushu. "What happened?" Fushu looks at the person with confusion.

"...Supposedly there were those freaks..." The person inches closer to Fushu. "Wait those things were there?" Fushu gasps. "...Yeah, those 'Mansers' or whatever they call them." The person groans when he said Mansers. "Those lab rats think that they can take our spot as soldiers!" Fushu stands up from his chair.

"Captain Fushu, the general wants to speak with you..." Another person walks into the room. "Oh right." Fushu grabs his cape and follows the person. Fushu enters the General's office. "Ah Captain, so glad that you took time to talk." The General turns his chair to face Fushu.

"So what is it General?" Fushu sits down on the chair that's in front of the General's desk. "Right, you know about the Mansers do you?" The General looks back outside through the window. "Yes, they're causing us trouble ever since they appeared." Fushu looks down.

"I know, whoever's using them they don't tend to be kind to anyone..." The general looks at the sky, "...I don't want another war to start so..." The General looks at Fushu, "...I've decided that you won't be with us."

"Huh?" Fushu looks up to the General, "What do you mean? But I'm the best soldier!" The general turns his chair, "I know, that's why I don't want to see you risk your life against an enemy that's stronger than us." Fushu clenches his fists.

"And besides, I got an alternative." The General points to somebody sitting in the corner of the room. He has spiky blue hair, like crystals. And he has a greatsword that's too big. His eyes shine as he steps into the light. 'Wait a minute...' Fushu silently gasps as he sees the person.

"Why didn't you told me that I was going to get replaced by him?!" Fushu glares at the General. "I didn't make this decision I only choose to take you out of the militia." The General sighs. "First the Mansers kill all of my comrades, and now they're replacing good men!" Fushu then glares at the man.

Fushu stands up, "I don't care if some Mansers are our allies now..." Fushu walks over to the door, "...I will not forgive them for what they've done." Fushu opens the door and leaves.

Fushu looks up, 'That day...' He then notices a small city, '...Guess I could use a pitstop...' Fushu arrives in the small city. He stops the cart near a temple. Fushu grabs Karu and heads inside the temple. "Greetings adventurer, what would you like this evening?" A cleric walks over to Fushu. "Can you take care of this kid until the morning?" Fushu hands Karu to the cleric. "He will be in our care until morning." The cleric smiles and walks off with Karu.

Fushu walks into an Inn. "What'll be today?" the Innkeep asks Fushu. "Just a room." Fushu puts a pouch of a few gold coins on the table. The Innkeep walks Fushu to a room. Fushu enters and closes the door. 'I'm too lazy to take off my armor...' Fushu falls on the bed and sleeps through the night.

-In the morning-

Karu opens his eyes. 'Where am I?' Karu sits up and notices bandages on his body. 'What the heck happened?' Karu looks around. The only thing that's in the room is the bed and a cabinet with the sun beaming light into the room. 'Is this a temple?'

Karu notices someone peeking from the door. As soon as Karu looked at the door, the individual stopped peeking. "Um, hello?" Karu gets up from the bed and walks over to the door. Karu opens the door and sees a female elf with cleric robes. "Who are you?" Karu asks the elf.

"Um, I'm just supposed to look after you, t-the cleric will be here soon." The elf stampers. "Oh, so you're not a cleric?" Karu raises a brow. "Well I am, but I'm not as good as the other clerics or as strong as them." The elf looks down at the ground. "Well, it doesn't matter if you're not strong..." Karu puts his hand on her shoulder, "...All that matters is your will to help others and to smite evil!" Karu smiles.

"I don't know what you two were saying but please let go of the cleric..." Fushu sighs. "Oh sorry, I have a habit to speak elvish if there's an elf." Karu speaks to Fushu in common. "...Uh-huh, anyway let's go, here's your stuff." Fushu throws Karu his backpack. Karu runs inside and changes to his clothes.

"So, are you a cleric, because you seem weak to me." Fushu eyes the elf. "Yes, but-" Fushu rolls his eyes, "But you're not strong enough, I think I understand lady." Fushu groans. "Alright ready!" Karu exits the room. "Sweet, now let's go." Fushu begins heading out.

"Hey..." The elf grabs Karu's hand, "...If you need a healer, can you choose me maybe?" Karu nods, "Sure, and you can become a great healer!" The elf lets go of Karu. Karu waves goodbye as he runs after Fushu.

"So did you at least get her name, romantic boy?" Fushu smirks at Karu as they leave the temple. "Huh, well no... Wait why did you call me romantic boy?" Karu glares at Fushu. "I thought it was funny." Fushu chuckles silently. "Since it looks like we'll be working with each other, I'm Karu!" Karu extends his hand to Fushu.

"I think you heard my name back in that battle..." Fushu shakes Karu's hand, "...It's Fushu." Karu puts his hand on his chin, "I don't think I heard anyone with Fushu, is that name foreign?" One of Fushu's eyes twitches, "Hey, it's not foreign!" Karu squints his eyes, "Or maybe you could be a half-orc..."

"Ok, now you're just insulting me." Fushu sighs in annoyance. Karu notices something on a wanted board. "What's this?"
