Tower Ascension Part 6

Outside the tower, Master Zhou, Mei Ling, and Shen looked up at the green light emanating from the top floor with disbelief in their eyes. They couldn't comprehend the incredible feat Li Xuehua had achieved. Master Ting appeared before them, standing on the ground floor alone. Mei Ling couldn't contain her curiosity and asked, "Master Ting, where is Li Xuehua?" Master Ting gazed up at the tower and reassured them, "Do not worry, Li Xuehua is with Grandmaster Mao." Hearing those words, Mei Ling and Shen breathed a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Mei Dong had been waiting anxiously outside the Admission Hall for his sister and her friends. He had learned that Mei Ling had reached the 25th floor and had been accepted into the master class. The last boy he had spoken to, a six-year-old, had informed him that it would be Shen's and Li Xuehua's turn next. That was two hours ago, and Mei Dong's face was filled with worry for his sister's friends, especially Li Xuehua.

Back on the 50th floor, thirty minutes ago, Grandmaster Mao instructed Li Xuehua to take a moment to rest and let her killing intent subside. Li Xuehua stood up and curtsied, respectfully addressing Grandmaster Mao, "Grandmaster Mao, please guide this student." With those words, Grandmaster Mao rose from his position, declaring that he would only use ten percent of his power. He ignited his staff, which would burn for three minutes, and positioned himself in the center of the tower.

In an instant, Li Xuehua disappeared from sight, reappearing on Grandmaster Mao's back, attempting to slash him with her fiery attack. Grandmaster Mao marveled at her incredible speed but managed to block her assault using his wind shield aura. Li Xuehua was thrown back ten meters from the impact. Undeterred, Li Xuehua vanished once more, creating four illusions of herself while attacking. Grandmaster Mao briefly panicked, unable to discern the real Li Xuehua from her illusions. However, due to the slight leakage of her aura while in battle, Grandmaster Mao was able to detect the true Li Xuehua.

Grandmaster Mao retaliated with a powerful punch, accompanied by a gust of wind. Li Xuehua managed to defend against the blow to some extent, but she still went flying and began coughing up blood. Yet, rather than despair, Li Xuehua became even more excited. This was her chance to go all out. Despite being in the initial phase of her cultivation, she had already mastered the use of fire bombs, as evidenced by her defeat of the king bear. Now, she tapped into her celestial phoenix power, summoning a fiery comet.

Throwing caution to the wind, Li Xuehua unleashed her full power. She launched the fire bomb first, and to Grandmaster Mao's disbelief, he managed to block the attack. However, he was caught off guard by the incoming fire comet and failed to evade it. His clothes were completely burned, leaving him in a state of shock. Li Xuehua, exhausted and drained from expending her power, collapsed with a smile on her face.

In a blink of an eye, Grandmaster Mao appeared beside her, catching her in his arms. A deep sense of happiness filled his heart, knowing that a new genius had emerged, surpassing all others.
