Chapter 8: Evolution!

I woke up at the sound of shouting outside my door, so I hurriedly stand up and ran outside, hoping that everything is fine. But to my surprise, my friends were dressed with their fighting gears! And when they saw me, they were like...

"Daisy! You need your gears! A group of fugitive is attacking us!" Rose said in a serious tone and I was like...

"I thought the school is hidden?! So how come that some fugitive has attacked?!" And the mere fact that they are lower in rank than the dusk?! This is truly mindblowing!

"This just means that Chang'e Moon is not over yet!" Mye said in a worried tone, so after hearing their answer, I quickly went back to my room, wore my fughting gears and went out, more likely ran.

As I walk out the dorm room, I can see everyone running around and hearing some explosions at the main gate, making me rush towards there, and it seems that the fugitives have already breached the main gate. Everyone is running inside while shouting a battle cry.

"Don't be afraid to fight, everyone! The formidable crystal will protect all of you!" Dean Jean said and everyone obeyed.

"Oy! Young lad! Don't just stand there!" I heard Professor Greg called, and when I looked at him, I saw that he was meaning to tell it to me, making me nod and fight.

I reached out for my sleeve as I try to get my wand, but to my surprise, it was not here! I also did the same thing to the other part, but to no avail.

"Where is it?! Did it fell off?" I thought and even though I don't know how it did if any cases, fell off is a mystery to me.

"What seems to be bothering you dear?" Professor Eurie said and used her gear to kill those who tried to come near me.

"My wand is lost!" I said and she looked at me with trouble. "I don't know what to do." I said, while she continued to cover up for me.

"Nothing can be done about that for now. You have to use your main magic." She said, making me waive my head no.

"But you know that I can't control it yet!" I hysterically said, but she just nodded to assure me.

I took a deep breath and exhaled as I look around us.

"I need to do this! I have to!" I thought and inhaled one more time, then exhaled. "Please lend me your strength!" I said in my mind as I try to focus on controlling myself. But... As time passes by, nothing is happening.

"I-I can't do it!" I said making all of our teacher look at me with curious gazes. "I don't know how to do it!" I said with a disappointed expression.

"But you did it uncontrollably last night!"

"Yeah! But I felt different back then! All I felt is nothing but anger in me." I explained to Professor Greg as he knocked down five at the same time.

"Then we have no choice but to make you mad again." Traceler said, making me surprised.

"No! I don't want to hurt anyone again!" I answered as quick as a fox's wit as I hear him say those lines. Remembering what happened with Professor Rylie after that moment, made me feel sacred about myself, and I don't want to experience it again.

"Oh come on! They're the reason why your family died!" I heard Guinevere said, making me look at her with shock.

"Even your friends got killed by them!" Rose shouted right at me, making me a bit mad. And even though I knew they were lying to help me, I am still scared that I'd totally give in.

"Daisy! Don't you want to avenge them?!" Traceler shouted in an angry manner, making me loose myself.

I felt that strange feeling again. Something inside me started to burn and I felt myself loosing to my consciousness.

"Try to control youself!"

"Oy! Look at where your attacking!"

Although I could hear everyone. It was faint and was like fading away. I can also feel my body levitating in the air and my hands emitting an aura that is very familiar.

"I want to control myself! I want to use my magic freely... But how?" I tried to think of a way, but none came. Then, with a strange lighting in front of me...

"Daisy~ what have you been doing?" That voice. Who? Sounds very familiar.

"Those past years... What benefits have you earned from those trainings?" Then it struck me!

"Mom? Dad?!" I called out, but all they did was stare at me intently.

"You haven't answered us yet." Dad said and didn't even smiled. "What have you been doing?" He asked.

"Stop acting like you have learned nothing sis!" Jaimey said pouting and Mailey just nodded in agreement.

"Learn to do it now, Daisy. We know you can do it." Mom said and smiled at me. "Please do it... For us. For Granger, and Oracle Ban." After those words, I felt alive and they all faded.

I can feel my heart as light as a feather and my body started to glow powerful color. With a mixture of black and orange, it felt so calming at this state. Then, in a blink, I can everything again. It was very messy, amd everyone of our enemies are starting to retreat.

It made me crunch my brows in curiosity as I look behind me. They were all looking at me with astonishment.

So I raised my right brows and they all pointed at me, making me look at myself.

"What the-?!" I was surprised to see myself change. I mean... My dress, instead of pure white, It was a mixture of orange and black. A beautiful dress!

The upper part, became an orange, long sleeved crop top that has a bit of feathery design at the colar. It was somewhat same like that of a phoenix's feather. From it's right shoulder, slanting down to the left hip, is a black wavey design that matches with the left shoulder and right hip at the back.

The lower part is a long, orange skirt-like, that reaches down at my feet. It has a slit in the middle, revealing a black short inside. The skirt has some black diamonds from the hip down towards the knee and the lower part has some wavey lines from left to right.

I could also feel something behind me, making me look at it. And to my surprise, was a wing! A colored orange wing! It was so bright that it made me shocked.

"What happened to me?!" I asked and as I look at everyone, I waved hi awkwardly and with nothing else in my mind, I...

"Aaargh!!! Ugh!" I fell down and hit the ground where I was flying earlier. "Ow~" I groaned as I try to stand back up.

"Daisy! Are you okay?" Guinevere asked while helping me stand up.

"Y-Yeah~ I was just surprised about earlier that I forgot what I was doing." I answered and they all sighed in relief.

"This is really interesting!" Dean Jean said as she walk closer to me, making us look at her with curious gazes.
