Washed Ashore

Gina managed to hold onto the barrel until she was able to come across some of the riggings that had washed over the edge of the ship. She was relieved when she could push together enough stuff that she could finally climb out of the water. The rain that was pouring down was making things slippery and hard to hold on to she did her best to lash the broken pieces together.  As the storm raged on, she had all she could do to hold her crudely made raft together until the storm started to die. Once it calmed down, she ripped strips of cloth and tied the scraps together better. That made it easier to relax a little once everything was tied together. She was able to just drift along once the waves calmed down.
