"Okay class, did you all understand?"

Understand? You can't even teach properly tsk.

"Yes ma'am"

And there are my classmates telling lies again. After our prof is gone, they'll talk about how difficult it was and can't understand a single thing.

Isn't it too typical? Aren't the teachers aware of this scheme?

Argh

I picked my bags and went to the school garden. It's the only place I can find some peace because this university is sooooo noisy.

I put my earphones on and listened to my favorite playlist.

I shut my eyes and sit comfortably putting my bag on me and crossed my arms.

🎶 There's no reason, there's no rhyme

I found myself blindsided by

A feeling that I've never known

Phone is quiet, walls are bare

I drink myself to sleep, who cares?

This makes me relax from all of the stress in me. Music is my gateaway from this horrible reality.

I didn't even feel that I'm being taken away from reality to a place far more peaceful

"Jungkook?"

Hmmm I want to sleep more

"Jungkook?!!"

Argh this person disturbs my sleep!

"What is it?", I answered irritated.

Ouch- my neck aches. Stiff neck is killing me

"It's already 4pm! Our class just ended and you missed it!"

What??! I missed my class?? Oh shit!

"Thank you for waking me up, I'll talk to our prof. Thank you very much!"

I hurriedly picked my things without even looking at the person who woke me up and went to the teacher's office.

I ran from the garden to the Building A which is 4 buildings away from the garden. I didn't mind if I'm running like crazy, I need to talk to him.

As I pass by the Building B, I slow down and began catching my breath.

"Ah it's so tiring! Why this university needs to be so big?"

I went in to Building A and immediately went inside the teacher's office on the ground floor.

"Good afternoon teachers, may I talk to Mr Choi?"

They nodded and I went to Mr Choi's desk.

"Why didn't you come to my class Mr Jeon? This is the first time you missed any class."

"Yes sir and I'm sorry. I'm actually at the garden during break time and didn't notice that I fell asleep. I'm sorry sir I won't do it again. Please forgive me."

He looked at me and stared right at my eyes. He's a very intimidating man that's why I have to make amends right now because it'll only become a bigger problem if I didn't come to him right away.

"Okay fine. Just don't miss another class okay? Since you're a very hardworking student, I understand that maybe you're tired that's why you fell asleep. Go home now and just ask your classmates about our lesson today."

He turned away from me and continued what he was doing

"Thank you sir! Thank you so much!"

He just nodded and I went out of the office with a lighter heart and a smile on my face.

I hummed as I skip towards the exit..

"Ouch"

Oh shit I bumped into someone!

"Oh my god I'm sorry!! I didn't mean it, I wasn't looking at my-"

"Shush! It's fine!"

I bowed my head and helped him get up.

"I haven't seen you here, what's your department?"

"Um, I am from Engineering Department"

"Oh really? That's why I haven't seen you. I'm Jung Hoseok from Arts Department"

"My name is Jeon Jungkook, nice meeting you."

I handed my hand over and he took it.

"Hey Hobi-hyung! There you are! We've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Oh hi Taehyung! Come here!"

Two people made their way through the crowd to get here. The students moved out of the way and started giggling and gossiping. Are they famous or something?

"Jungkook, I want you to meet my bestfriends. This is Kim Taehyung, be careful he's a trickster."

He pointed at the guy who called him a while ago and laughed. He's like the same height as me, tanned skin, fine body and handsome.

Well Hoseok is also tall, tanned skin as well and he has a well-built body. He's very handsome too.

"And Jungkook, this is Park Jimin. The Angel of our Department!"

He said proudly

"Yah hyung! You're embarrassing me! Angel nonsense"

He pouted those plump lips of his.

Unlike the two of them, he is smaller, fair complexity and a fine body. But he's not just handsome, he's gorgeous. As if he's in between of male and female. His blonde hair falling perfectly on his beautiful face. I haven't seen anyone like him. If his hair is longer, I'll maybe think that he's a girl.

"Um, nice to meet you guys. I am Jeon Jungkook from Engineering Department."

I bowed and they did as well.

"Do you know Kim Namjoon and Min Yoongi from your department?", Hoseok asked me with his heart shaped smile.

Kim Namjoon and Min Yoongi? They are my sunbae and they are pretty famous. Why? They wanna befriend them just like the other students? Kim Namjoon is our department student president for his intelligence. He is a very fine man, tall, well-built body, tanned skin and a handsome face. Yoongi on the otherhand is smaller. His skin is pale white and a smaller than the average body and an intimidating handsome face.

"Yes I do. They are famous in our department. They are my sunbae"

"Told yah! Everyone knows them!" Taehyung hit Hoseok on his shoulder lightly as if they're playing.

What? What's going on?

"Um, Jungkook, Namjoonie-hyung and Yoongi-hyung are our friends. As you see, Tae and Hoseok-hyung made a bet if they're well known enough. So childish right?" Jimin-sunbae chuckled after he explained why they are doing that.

"Anyways, are you going home now Jungkook?"

"Ah yes Taehyung-sunbae"

The three of them looked at each other and laughed.

Why? Is there something wrong with what I said?

"Jungkook, it's fine if you call us hyung.", Hoseok sun- I mean, Hoseok-hyung is so kind.

I smiled at them

"Ok Hoseok-hyung"

"Let's go to our favorite café first!", Taehyung-hyung grabbed my hand and we ran.

They are so friendly. I don't have any friends because I don't feel like they are sincere or I don't belong to them. But with these hyungs, I feel comfortable with them.

Hoseok-hyung and Jimin-hyung ran as well until we passed our university gate.

Hoseok-hyung and Taehyung-hyung walked faster than me so they are ahead of me. Jimin-hyung on the otherhand is infront of me but not align with them.

He looked back at me and stopped walking until I'm finally beside him.

"So Jungkook, why did you choose the Engineering Department?"

He asked while still looking at me. It's kinda awkward because he's looking at me but I still answered him.

"Um, it's actually because of my parents. They want me to be an engineer."

"Then what do you want?"

"I want to be part of your department Jimin-hyung. I actually like dancing and singing but I don't want to disappoint my parents."

"You know Jungkook, my parents once want me to pursue Medicinal course but I didn't. Wanna know why?"

I looked at him and nodded.

"It's because performing is what I love. Just like you, I want to sing and dance as well and I didn't let my parents hinder my dream."

"But aren't they disappointed?"

"Of course they were disappointed. But, I don't want to disappoint myself more than to disappoint my parents. What matters the most is me because this is my life. There's nothing wrong with following your parents but isn't it unfair to let them control YOUR life?"

Well he has a point.

At least someone felt the same way I feel and it's awesome that I have someone to share my problems with.

"You're right Jimin-hyung but I'm here now, I can't back out. Thank you for what you said though, it helped me feel lighter."

"No problem Jungkook, what friends are for?"

He smiled at me and giggled.

Friends?

They are my friends?

After 10 minutes of walking, we finally went inside of the café. We sat on a circular table and it's so wide.

"Isn't this too big for us?", I asked them confusedly.

"We're actually waiting for someone"

Ahh, okay. I just nodded and looked at the menu.

We ordered our drinks and I just want some iced tea.

We were talking about our day today when someone called Hoseok-hyung.

"Yah Hoseok! We're here!"

I looked at them and...

Kim Namjoon and Min Yoongi sunbae?

"At last! Yah hyung why are you two always late?", Jimin-hyung moved closer to me to let Namjoon and Yoongi sunbae sit.

So they were waiting for them?

They are really friends afterall.

"Oh! It's Jeon Jungkook. Hi!", Namjoon sunbae know me?

"Um, you know me Namjoon sunbae?"

He chuckled and sat down comfortably.

"You don't know huh? You're kinda well-known because of your looks and intelligence."

What? Why didn't I know it?

"Jungkook looks confused hahaha", Taehyung-hyung laughed at my face expression

"Well, he's tall, he has a honey-like skin, he's handsome too." Jimin-hyung looked at me from head to toe as he said those words. Ahhh it makes me feel embarrassed.

"But Namjoon sunbae, why didn't I know it?"

"First of all, you can call us hyung even this granny beside me" he pointed at Yoongi sunbae but he just rolled his eyes.

"Second, you won't know since you're not very approachable."

Well it's true.

We spent 2 hours talking about a lot of things.

"Okay guys, let's go home now. Jungkook, where do you live?"

"Um, I live just 10 blocks away from here Namjoon-hyung"

"Oh, we live just another block away. Let's go home together!", Taehyung-hyung is really so gullible.

"We all live in one house. But of course we have different rooms, it's awkward if we share a room right?", Hoseok-hyung said and laughed. He's really funny.

We walked home still talking to each other. Namjoon-hyung and Hoseok-hyung are walking side by side while Taehyung-hyung and Yoongi-hyung are talking with each other. Jimin-hyung and I are more comfortable with each other now. Somehow, we are almost the same. It feels like there's a bond between us.

We bid our goodbyes and they all went inside of a big house. Wow.

"I'm home!"

I directly went in my room, closed the door and laid on my bed.

It's been a very wonderful day. I'm looking forward with having my college days with them.
