=========

After thinking about the things he can now do being a butterfly, he closed the system excitedly.

Although he has wings that can flap around up and down, his past life slaps his face left and right looking down from the tree to the ground.

'Sh*t, another call of the void experience, Zack.' He cried inside while doing a face of a baby that was about to cry.

Call of the void; it is the experience where the person is in a higher ground and wanted to go down to a safe place quickly. Having no other choice, the human mind will think about jumping from the place in order to land but at the same end, a human survival instinct will kick in before your feet moves from position, saving you from jumping.

'I have wings, I can do this'

Stepping back, Zack took a second look at the system. His task was simple; Open your wings, fly, and get your reward.

Seeing that he will get a reward after completing the system task, a sudden adrenaline rush arouse inside his body.

'Hey, uhm.. assistant?' He called.

<oh, for gods' sake, can you please call me normally? assistant here there..> Speaking in his mind, the assistant seems to have its own mind, unlike AI powered systems.

Ignoring the assistant's complain, Zack proceeds to ask. "So what's this reward the system was talking about?"

<... > The assistant didn't respond.

"Okay, that's a first" After coming out from the cocoon, this was the first time the assistant shut its mouth— or mind.

Going back at the end of the trunk, it looks like his mind is playing inside his head looking at the scenery around him.

"Woah, am I high or I am literally high up?!" looking down at the tree, realizing that the size of the tree where he's on isn't normal.

The tree is as high as a building on earth. Looking down, it feels like Zack is on the roof of his workplace.

"Here goes nothing" Closing his eyes and jumping from the trunk, Zack forgot something.

<So uh, i didn't know you plan to die this quickly.>

"What? I don't know what you're talking about." Zack replied.

<Incase you know how to flap your wings like a butterfly, refrain yourself for thinking can survive here.>

While the gravity is pushing his body down, the air is preventing him from breathing, caused him to lose his focus.

'Sh*t! sh*t! sh*t! It's just easy aerodynamic, Zack. Keep your cool, keep your cool!' He said to himself.

Closing his eyes again, Zack focused on every limb on his body. Apart from his pair of arms and legs, it feels like he now has 2 more legs and four more arms behind his back placed as wings. Holding to this feeling, Zack finds himself flapping his own wings.

Looking at the night sky, he quickly flew upwards while smiling inside his head.

'Alright, give me those rewards!'

*Ding*

As long as he heard the notification, he quickly dove downwards. Finding any near trees around, Zack noticed a much smaller tree than the one he came from. Controlling the feeling he felt earlier, deactivating it feels much harder than the opposite.

Finally, he landed on a tree that's a liitle bit higher than a three storey house. The tree doesn't have any leaves or colors, it looks like a dead tree but Zack find it interesting, landing there.

<I suggest you should reconsider resting here.> Although the assistant don't have physical body, he can't feel at ease looking around the area.

"Yeah, yeah.. Now let's check what's this system rewards." Ignoring the assistant, Zack is quite happy for what he had done.

Even though it's just a straight course flight, Zack is proud of himself being able to muster his will to jump off that tree.

Looking at the screen, a smile appeared on his face.

[Mission Complete]

[Rewards granted!]

[You are now an official System User!]

[Exp gained]

[You are now level 1!]

[Level up reward granted]

[Passive skill: Trail]

[1 stats point received]

Zack is liking the feeling he's undergoing right now, he can't explain if this is excitement or happiness— if not both. Seeing the system's interface is making him overjoyed.

Reading each of the messages, he asked the assistant about some of the system's feature that he received.

"Hey, what does the system mean about me being official system user?"

<Before that, let me congratulate you first for completing your task. To be completely honest, I doubted at but hey! HAVE A SYSTEM USER NOW! F*CK YOU GUYS! CAN NOW BE DEMIGOD TOO!> The assistant cried.

"What the hell?! What're you talking about?!" Zack shouts, confused.

<Ehem.. Nevermind that. Being an official system user means you now have the privilege to do certain things. Unlike normal magical beast, can level up and get stronger each level.. that's what makes special. Aside from system, also yourself by using Beasts' way be as strong them—maybe stronger.>

"That would be cool but I doubt that." Zack replied, remembering those last phrases the assistant said.

"Now, what about the level thing?"

<Yes, that's also one of my most favorite feature the system. Each time you complete a task, your exp bar will load up and everytime reached capacity, level up. It's that simple, every grant random rewards from system, some may be skills, points, or items.>

"Alright" Zack said while touhing his chin.. or at least that's what he thought he was doing.

"What about the skill and points I received?" Zack continued.

<I assume the skill you've received is one of a kind. It's my first time encountering an... What your race again?> The assistant asked.

"The system said I am an Alpha Shaus'n." He replied, wondering if the assistant and the system are two different thing. After all, the assistant came from his system.

<Yeah, an Alpha Shaus'n, it's actually my first time hearing that.>

"Alright, enough with that. Let's see how does this points and skill works." Opening the system interface, he saw a new section next to his stats, [Skills] that's where his abilities were. Looking at his stats, Zack noticed something new.

[Name: --]

[Race: Alpha Shaus'n]

[Level: 1]

[0/100]

[STR: 0]

[INT: 3]

[VIT: 1]

[AGI: 2]

[DEX: 0]

[1 stats point]

"Whoa, so how do I add the stats point here?"

<Here I thought you'd already knew the answer.> Face palming itself on its mind. The assistant reminded him that the system is adapted to human's way of playing.

<Just click the stats points, dummy, how can you add it if don't select anything?>

"F*ck, of course that's how it works." Although he is a gamer on his past life, it was his first time encountering a leveling system. Cursing himself, he clicked the stats point.

[1 stats point]

After continuing what the assistant said, he can now see a plus sign after every stats from STR to DEX.

When he was a human, he often play games on his free time and is not a competitive type of a player because he just enjoys how the game works, not its ranking or leaderboard. Not really being able to check the ranking, Zack didn't know that he's one of the best in the game. It's just that the game is not what the assistant thinks it to be. It was a castle-building game coded to protect your own and attack others'.

"Alright, I have 3 for the INT... WAIT, WHAT DOES IT GONNA DO ANYWAYS?! I don't have any mana or anything so why does my INT higher?!" On the first look, Zack only noticed the things without a number; the STR and DEX.

"Dannazione! Let's check how my skill works first before adding my stats point."

Zack quickly went to his Skills to see the description of it, clicking the question mark icon next to its name.

[Passive Skill: Trail]

[The skill grants the user to release an after image of itself using the lights emitted from its wings to a direction where the user wants the Trail to go for 3 seconds.]

[The higher the INT, the higher the chance for the Trail to work on enemies. Remember: It will only be used when walking, running, or flying while the enemy is directly looking at the user.]

Now having an idea to what the INT is for, he couldn't complain more. Having a passive skill is good but Zack wanted a skill that can be used to protect him.

'I don't know if I'm just unlucky or the system wants me dead already.' He said under his breath.

The hardest part is to think where he's gonna put the stats point. It's very importatnt to think about it carefully because once used, it cannot be undone.

He took a quick glance at his task and closing his eyes to think about it thoroughly. After some time, he made up his mind.

"Alright, let's go with this."

[DEX +1]

Zack plans to survive in this new world and go back to Earth, not destroy and kill everything he sees. He put the point into the DEX for a better defence but what does it help anyways?

It will be useless to put into STR because his butterfly body is not applicable to fight hand to hand.

<It seems like the celebration will cut short for now.> The assistant suddenly talked out.

"What do you mean?"

Not too long after, a vibration under his feet can be felt.

"How the..? Is this earthquake?" He asked.

<I wouldn't say that. we're not on Earth, remember?>

"Well then Trinian...quake?" He sarcastically replied.

The vibration is not a constant one, it feels more like a giant is walking somewhere near him. The vibration was getting stronger and stronger until he heard the system.

*Ding*

Opening his task, the look on his face can be described 'as pale as ghost'.
